FINANCE PROCESS AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Finance Process Automation Specialist you are responsible for automation, optimization, standardization.

You will design, build, and maintain Redwood automations that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our global Finance processes. You ensure best‑practice development, support users across markets, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Record-to-Report (RTR) operations.

Your main focus:

• Automate finance processes
  • Review process designs and validate automation feasibility
  • Build Redwood automations following defined development standards
  • Perform unit testing and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Support UAT by demonstrating solutions and resolving defects

• Maintain and support Redwood solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues raised by Redwood users
  • Monitor and maintain existing automations
  • Implement required updates and enhancements
  • Ensure documentation is complete and up to date

• Drive process efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for automation during process reviews
  • Recommend improvements to enhance standardization
  • Collaborate with the RTR GPO team on global initiatives

• Ensure governance and compliance
  • Follow established development procedures and sign‑off requirements
  • Maintain alignment with RTR and Redwood best practices
  • Support audit and compliance needs related to automation

• Collaborate across Finance and Technology
  • Work closely with RTR, AR, AP, and other finance teams
  • Partner with IT and process owners to ensure smooth deployment
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and user enablement

The team consists of Finance Process Owners and Automation Specialists, and you will work closely with departments such as RTR, AR, AP, IT, and Global Process Governance. YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You like to solve problems, streamline processes, and bring structure to complexity. As an experienced Finance Automation Engineer, you work independently, think logically, and enjoy transforming manual steps into efficient automated workflows. You thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Other than that, you:

• Have strong understanding of finance transactional processes (RTR, AR, AP)
• Bring hands-on experience as a finance user in SAP (preferably S/4HANA)
• Demonstrate logical thinking, ideally with coding or programming exposure
• Understand double-entry accounting and operational finance workflows
• Have experience in process design, documentation, and optimization
• Experience with Redwood is beneficial but not required.
