Finance Business Partner - Accounts Receivables
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER (AR BP)
FINANCE / ORDER TO CASH
As our Accounts Receivable Finance Business Partner, you will act as the strategic link between local markets, GBS AR Operations, and central Finance—driving strong receivables performance, cash discipline, and continuous improvement across assigned markets.
THE ROLE

As our Accounts Receivable Finance Business Partner, you play a critical role in improving cash flow, DSO, and dispute resolution while supporting finance transformation and process standardization. You combine operational AR expertise with strong business partnering to influence stakeholders and deliver measurable improvements across the Order‑to‑Cash landscape.
You will be partnering closely with local Finance teams, Sales, and GBS AR Operations, and you will manage:
1. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary AR Finance contact for local Finance, Sales, and GBS AR Operations
- Partner with Finance Directors, Controllers, and Sales teams to support cash collection and dispute resolution
- Ensure alignment between local market priorities and GBS AR execution
- Serve as escalation point for critical AR topics (overdues, blocked accounts, disputes)
2. Cash Collection & DSO Management
- Monitor AR KPIs including DSO, overdue balances, and dispute levels
- Drive action plans to improve cash collection and reduce overdue receivables
- Support markets in defining customer‑specific collection strategies
- Identify payment behavior risks and propose mitigating actions
3. Disputes & Credit Risk Management
- Oversee dispute management processes and ensure timely resolution
- Challenge unjustified disputes and support evidence‑based customer discussions
- Cooperate with Credit Management on credit limits, payment terms, and blocked customers
- Assess AR exposure and support decisions on write‑offs, provisions, and settlements
4. Month‑End Close, Controls & Governance
- Support month‑end AR closing activities (reconciliations, accruals, provisions)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of AR balances
- Contribute to internal control frameworks and audit readiness
- Identify control gaps and propose improvements
5. Process Improvement & Transformation
- Contribute to standardization of AR processes across markets
- Support finance transformation initiatives (e.g. S/4HANA, e‑Invoicing, automation)
- Act as key AR representative in projects impacting Order‑to‑Cash processes
- Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across markets
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review AR performance reporting for management
- Provide insights on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support ad‑hoc analysis related to receivables, disputes, and customer exposure
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a relationship‑driven finance professional, you thrive in a business‑partnering role and enjoy influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
Your skills and experience include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance / Accounting within the Order‑to‑Cash area, ideally in a managerial or lead role
- Fluent English & Polish (minimum B2/C1 level)
- Strong stakeholder‑management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence across Finance, Sales, and Operations
- Self‑starter mindset with strong prioritization and attention to detail
- Results‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑focused attitude
