Visual Merchandising Intern

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.
In an effort to display our Prestige Fragrance, Cosmetic and Skincare brands in stores, we seek a Visual Merchandising Intern to coordinate every detail of our seasonal updates. Along with the Director of Visual Merchandising, the Visual Merchandising Intern will play a key role in project management and execution.
The Visual Merchandising Intern will work with cross-functional teams to plan, organize and deliver high-quality displays.
The Visual Merchandising Intern will report primarily into the Director of Merchandising, with strong collaboration with the Field Execution Team, Marketing & Sales Teams, Global Merchandising contacts, and outside Vendors.
The Visual Merchandising Intern is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry with a strong interest in elevating brands within the retail environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Seasonal updates to launch innovation: planograms, tests, prototypes, approvals, production
- Project management: renderings, project briefs, budgets, timelines, coordination, execution
- Administrative support: purchase orders, budget tracking, maintaining files, improving processes
QUALIFICATIONS |
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Visual Merchandising) with proven organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Undergraduate degree required. MBA a plus
Desirable:
- Prestige/luxury brand experience preferred
- Retail experience an asset
- Must be able to work independently and collaborate with teams
