  1. Essential Functions

Gucci is the worldwide high-end fashion brand and also a market leader in China fragrance category. Coty took over the business of Gucci beauty since 2017 year and has been witnessed a robust business growth through a well-orchestrated Go-to-Market strategy mix including high-quality product offering, strong retail presence, innovative marketing strategy, as well as upgraded customer experience. We also have great ambition in expanding Gucci beauty in fragrance and color as one of the fastest growing brand in Japan beauty market competition.  

Our purpose is to elevate a women’s beauty sense inspired from Gucci prestige brand heritage and avant-garde fashion spirit.

  1. Key Role & Responsibilities

The Brand manager is responsible to drive the development and execution of marketing bundles and brand plans to build the brand awareness, desirability and convert consumer engagement & sales in long-run vision.

  • Identify and implement brand strategies based on consumer/shopper insights, competitive threats and brand issues and opportunities, in compliant to global brand marketing and fashion house guideline.
  • Develop brand annual calendar and wisely use available resource to achieve business targets. including but not limited in brand sales, pillar/category performance, retail excellence, campaign delivery, consumer acquisition, consumer retention, brand awareness improvement. To liaise with local registration team and global brand team/Regional team to make sure timely new innovation launches in Japan.
  • Achieve business results through executional excellence and partners with cross functional colleagues to ensure MKT activities are executed according to strategy and are supported by investments in advertising, digital /social and promotions.
  • Applies understanding of local consumers, customers, and competitors to adapt the global license guideline& policy in local adaptation, while also take a role of strong local voice in proposing local initiatives.
  • Provide strong distribution strategy based on strong analysis of retailers .
  • Provide timely and insightful business analysis and reports to adapt strategy and action plans.
  1. Essential requirement for success
  • 8+ years’ experience in Marketing, luxury beauty will be a credit. With excellent track record in innovation rollouts and flawless launch management, S&OP, and media planning & execution
  • Project Management: Ability to inspire and lead team, hold them accountable to deliver project deliverables
  • Experience in consumer work and mix development a plus
  • Experience in Department store business
  • Strong communication, and good at coordinating and mobilizing the internal and external resources. Fluent English capability.
  • Strong beauty sense and Luxury taste.
