The role:

In this newly created role, the Social Media Executive will play a pivotal role in maintaining the social media presence for some of Coty’s largest consumer beauty brands including; Rimmel, Covergirl, Sally Hansen, Max Factor and OPI. The diversity of the role will mean that no day will be the same, from consumer insight generation to community management, you will assist with delivering long-term business growth through social media channels.

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will:

  • Assist with managing the social media accounts across a number of exciting brands
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to ideate, develop and distribute an on-going social media schedule
  • Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders, manage and respond to all questions and comments (community management) on social channels
  • On-going maintenance of the content published on the owned properties (website, YouTube etc)
  • Measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns
  • Collate and present the latest trends, best practice and product updates across all social media platforms

You will have:

  • Experience with content creation, whether editorial, visual or video
  • Familiar with the nuances of the key social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Pinterest
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • A degree in marketing, communication, public relations or another closely related discipline

Helpful to have but not essential

  • Prior experience of producing digital content and managing social media accounts for brands
  • An understanding of paid media and social amplification
  • History of working with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal
  • Ability to work with Adobe Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop and InDesign
  • Knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro
