Senior Marketing Manager - Colour Cosmetics Brands

The Senior Marketing Manager – Colour Cosmetics Brands will lead the Consumer Beauty colour cosmetics brand portfolio, utilising strategic and creative thinking to set the overall vision, ensure local consumer relevance and brand growth within global guidelines, and deliver top and bottom-line growth.

 

THE ROLE   

 

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE! 

 

As our Senior Marketing Manager – Colour Cosmetics Brands, you play a critical role in acting as the lead brand custodian, bridging Global Marketing and local market execution, and driving brand execution via leadership of the brand teams. 

 

You will be reporting to Marketing Director, Consumer Beauty, and you will manage: 

 

Brand Strategy, Planning and Execution

  • Lead in the development of the overall colour cosmetics strategy across the brand portfolio.
  • Support the scoping, development, and implementation of the Colour The Future project, assisting the strategic turnaround plan designed to accelerate topline growth and efficiencies across our cosmetic brands, identifying growth drivers, brand and channel opportunities, and executional shifts required for success.
  • Lead and direct the teams to develop annual brand plans and initiatives that will deliver against the budgeted sales, profit and market share KPIs.
  • Manage roll-up of colour cosmetics brand budgets and P&L to ensure ROI and efficiency per brand
  • Drive analysis of market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of the 6 monthly retailer strategy presentations and special project presentations to key accounts in conjunction with the Sales team.

 

Consumer & Market Insights

  • Leverage insights, data, and feedback to shape strategies and optimise performance
  • Lead regular competitive reviews and brand health tracking across the colour cosmetics portfolio


Strategic Omni-Channel Leadership

  • Lead the strategic planning of omni-channel launch and campaign frameworks, ensuring flawless storytelling from awareness through to conversion.
  • Champion a premium and cohesive brand experience across all beauty touchpoints—retail environments, digital shelf, social platforms, influencers, paid media, and editorial.


Cross-Functional Influence & Partnership

  • Build strong, influential relationships with Sales, eCommerce, Advocacy, and Brand teams to drive alignment on launch priorities and execution standards.
  • Guide teams to adopt an integrated mindset, ensuring channel plans support a unified brand voice and commercial ambition.

 

People leadership, development and training

  • Provide strong people leadership of the colour cosmetics brand teams.
  • Set a clear competency framework and development plans to champion team capabilities continuous upgrade, as well as individual development.

Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:  

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing at degree level. 
  • 7+ years’ experience in a senior brand management or similar marketing role. 
  • Significant beauty experience and background in mass market/FMCG across grocery, discount department store and pharmacy channels. 
  • High level interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with Sales and other functional teams. 
  • Excellent presentation and strong communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical, thinking and problem-solving skills. 
  • High level ability to set priorities and manage competing demands.
