About the role:
Develop and manage assigned Pharmacy & Perfumery customers to optimise sales and revenue opportunities across the Coty portfolio of brands. Exceed designated sales targets, build and grow new and existing customer relationships, deliver exceptional in-store execution and develop profitable business across all brands and products.
Reporting to the National Field and Alternative Sales Channel Manager, you will:
• Analyse sales performance and promotional effectiveness of assigned accounts in order to develop and implement account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirements
• Negotiate store marketing and promotional plans in line with individual store and Coty requirements
• Maintain regular quality contact with the customer base ensuring adherence to set call cycles
• Prepare and present sales strategies utilising available marketing programs to reach set targets
• Monitor market and advise management of changes in competition, product availability or related matters
• Ensure compliance to planograms, new launches and relevant brand authorisation criteria
• Collate launches on the brand activity calendars, prepare monthly promotional communications to relevant stakeholders and carry out compliance checks
• Deliver product training to promote brand knowledge and awareness
• Complete sales reports and forecasts as requested
• Process and administer customer orders via tablet or laptop
• Complete all required administration and reporting within given timeframes including new line paperwork
• Co-ordinate installation, dispatch, merchandising and orders for new stores or store relocations and repairs for existing stores
You will have:
• 3-4 years business-to-business sales experience in an Account Management role, preferably with a background in luxury &/or mass cosmetics and fragrance.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in sales & marketing or related discipline highly regarded.
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office are a requirement including Excel skills at an intermediate level.
• High level interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with sales and other functional teams.
• Excellent presentation and strong communication skills.
• High level ability to set priorities and manage competing demands.
• Ability to travel within a given region and territory as required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
