The Marketing Activation & Operations Coordinator- Consumer Beauty & Prestige provides support to the In-Store Excellence team. Daily tasks include assisting with: Point of Sale (POS) creative development, installations, print management, visual merchandising, in-store permanent and temporary executions along with in-store operational activities. 

 

The role requires strong pro-active, multi-project management skills, strategic mind set, keen eye for detail, and natural creative flair – a winning combination to ensure excellence in execution. In addition, we require strong analytical ability and diligence (both numerically and aesthetically) to be able to assist and oversee allocated projects on time & within budget, driving consistent quality whilst adhering to time sensitive critical paths. This is a fast-paced role, requiring agility, flexibility and most importantly an unwavering team spirit. 
 

Reporting into the Marketing Activation Manager, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

  • Assist with creative development of temporary POS displays, including briefing, reviews & approvals in collaboration with the In-Store Excellence Team – CB & Prestige.
  • Assist with planogram management (BlueYonder) of any allocated projects, development of merchandising activation guides, compliance reviews & competitor reporting and distribute as necessary, all elements of our Perfect Store Program ensuring we meet In-Store Excellence KPI’sand storage (last movement reports), national maintenance, dispatch and installation of retail units and POS for kitting.
  • Attend briefing sessions, supplier meetings and operations meetings related to the merchandising program. Participate and distribute agenda and minutes from key meetings, merchandising trials and in-store monthly activity updates. Provide feedback on Coty & competitor brands.
  • Raise and finalise purchase orders and invoices within Ariba as needed across the Merchandising & In Store Excellence business.
  • Assist with enquiries received from internal functions (Marketing Activation, Brand Marketing, and Sales) and external (Agencies and Contractors) to provide centralised communication.
  • Support Merchandising Operations in the management of merchandising activities via 3rd party agency to achieve the sales targets, KPI’s, budgets and business goals.
  • Assist with administration and project management work as required.

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline preferred. 
  • Experience within Retail Point-of-Sale, FMCG or Visual Merchandising environment is well regarded.
  • Proficient in Creative cloud apps is preferred.
  • Time management, organisational skills; analytical skills to understand data and develop course of action.
  • Excellent attention to detail and results oriented mindset with the ability to be flexible and resilience to overcome challenges.
  • High motivation, energy, drive, passion, and ability to work well within a team environment.
