Brand Manager - Max Factor

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
This role is responsible for leading the development and growth of Max Factor, a growing priority brand within Consumer Beauty. The Brand Manager will work with cross-functional teams and agencies to plan, execute, measure, and improve brand campaigns, creating best in class practices. They will assist in the development of local strategy and execute the integrated marketing plan to deliver financial and brand objectives, to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Develop, recommend and implement local through-the-line strategies and marketing plans through category analysis and consumer insight to grow the Max Factor brand
- Plan, forecast, implement and review campaign launches and promotional activity in line with global and local requirements
- Lead & steer the local implementation of innovation and projects from forecasting through to post launch analysis
- Steer the local portfolio architecture to ensure optimal franchise and shade ranging to drive efficiencies
- Brief, implement and measure media campaigns and PR strategy and events with internal and external agencies
- Management of marketing budget for total brand A&CP spend in line with targets
- Brief Trade Marketing on the implementation of launch plans and where necessary to achieve in-store launch effectiveness (specifically, POS requirements, GWP, print materials, activations)
- Potential management of sponsorship partnership and events
- Assist & lead in the development and deliver strategy presentations to key accounts and sales conferences
- Provide monthly reports locally and globally on net sales, retail sales & competitor analysis performance in the market place (specifically, key launch sell-through results).
- Liaise with Supply Chain with regard to daily operational issues and to ensure that launch time and stock allocations are respected through the management of the traffic sheet.
- Liaise with National Account Managers to ensure launch effectiveness
- Develop & manage bespoke retailer plans with National Account Managers to help drive distribution and brand love
- Participate in industry functions to ensure the brand is represented effectively with all forms of media.
- Project management work as required.

Qualifications and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing at degree level preferred.
- Solid experience in a brand management, category management or similar level marketing role (minimum 2 years)
- An FMCG background highly regarded (cosmetics/personal care).
