Retail Design Project Management Executive
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Design/ Project Management Executive to join Coty TR APAC Retail Design & Visual Merchandising team. Working closely with the Retail Design Manager/ Senior Retail Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the business from a project management standpoint in an exciting, fast pace and dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for leading new store openings, adapting Global Design guidelines for local implementation, and managing the planning and execution of temporary stores and promotional animations.
In this role, you will support the team in delivering high-quality retail design solutions aligned with each brand’s equity and guidelines, while driving efficient project execution in line with the regional business development strategy, under the supervision of the manager.
Your main focus:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Support end-to-end retail design and project execution for both CAPEX and temporary animations, including store openings, pop-ups and in-store animations, in alignment with brand guidelines, timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on project planning, installations and follow-ups under the guidance of the line manager.
- Assist the line manager in large-scale projects such as flagship/AAA stores, Outposts, pop-ups, new store image rollouts and key marketing activations.
- Support Brand Captain projects as assigned.
- Maintain and update POS databases for the assigned region, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
DESIGN
- Work closely with the Global Retail Design team to ensure local adaptations align with brand guidelines.
- Support design adaptation work where required, following internal compliance and approval processes.
- Assist in coordinating supplier nominations in line with company compliance guidelines.
SUPPLIER & PROCESSES SUPPORT
- Support supplier coordination by sharing clear brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Assist in the evaluation of suppliers’ capabilities and professionalism under the supervision of the line manager.
- Support the sourcing of suitable vendors to deliver quality and cost-effective solutions for the region.
ADMINISTRATION
- Handle purchase order (PO) issuance and follow-ups, complete daily installation reports, and manage related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support basic project follow-ups assigned by the line manager, including paperwork management, data collation, routine task tracking and coordination with cross-functional teams on day-to-day project matters.
- Support the tracking of project management KPIs for assigned projects (e.g. timeline adherence, budget tracking, quality checks and stakeholder feedback), and assist in identifying improvement opportunities under guidance, while adapting to changes and project demands.
CROSS-FUNCTION COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support clear and timely communication on retail design and project-related topics.
- Support communication with global brand teams on retail design matters, including material sample coordination and report submissions.
- Participate in field visits to key markets (when required) to support quality checks on retail counters and supplier execution.
- Ensure all project work follows TR APAC business development strategy and global brand standards, escalating issues to the line manager as needed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Retail Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in retail design, project coordination, or store-related project support in the retail industry.
- Good project management skills with the ability to support multiple projects across different brands.
- Basic understanding of retail store design principles and exposure to retail project execution processes (e.g. furniture production, site installation, maintenance, and handover).
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
- Some experience in vendor coordination and store design; regional exposure will be an advantage.
- Strong communications and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of design software (e.g. CAD, Photoshop, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Resourceful and solution oriented with a creative eye and strong attention to details
- Positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, with a proactive and hands-on mindset.
- Organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage changing requirements.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 15%).
