Job Title: Key Account Management (KAM) Intern

 

About the Role

The ideal candidate will take on the role of Key Account Management (KAM) Intern and be able to commit a full-time internship. He/she will be part of a dynamic retail business environment and support sales distribution and brand building activities for channel expansion within Singapore. During this internship, the candidate will also gain good exposure with hands-on working experience to key account management in a local retail FMCG business and deliver brand objectives.

 

THE ROLE

  • Assist in the development of business strategies by using data and statistical analysis to identify high potential sellers Identify trends and market opportunities. 
  • Learn about the business landscape in FMCG, Commercial business Singapore. Understand how to analyse sales, how to support retailers in growing our business. 
  • The Intern will be supporting Local category planning and execution, and project management for Sally Hansen, Adidas, Rimmel, Mass fragrance brand. This may include supporting for portfolio/asset management, new product development, new retail launches, market analysis, and consumer research and marketing support. 
  • Other ad-hoc support as requested for Consumer Beauty 

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

  • Undergraduates who can commit for at least 6 months (Jan to June 2024 ) for a full-time internship.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office tools including Outlook (or related email tool) Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a sense of confidentiality.
  • Possesses cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
  • Articulate, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good balance of a professional attitude while having fun.
  • Strong interest in consumer goods, makeup and beauty products.
  • Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Persuasive, resilient and flexible, able to easily adapt to new challenges.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
  • Able to thrive despite challenges while adopting a positive attitude under pressure.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Learn about Commercial business category in local FMCG business. 
  • Brand management and ownership.
  • Marketing strategies and support and how it applies in the local market. 
  • Innovation Funnel – from ideation to bringing the product to life, from products selection, sales projection, and presentation, to planning of forecast, to planning of planogram and Fruition of launch in the stores.
