Singapore (supporting MY, TH, SG markets; ad hoc IN support)
Duration: Internship – 6 months (Jul -Dec)
HR INTERN — JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to provide cross-market administrative support across our Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand operations, with ad hoc support for our India team as needed. You will play an integral part in keeping our HR operations running smoothly, taking ownership of day-to-day administrative tasks and contributing across a broad range of HR activities.
You will sit within a lean, collaborative HR team and gain exposure to multi-market HR operations across Southeast Asia and India, employee lifecycle processes, and regional stakeholder management — making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in HR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Administration & Reporting
-
Prepare, track, and file HR documents including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding/offboarding checklists
-
Maintain and update employee records across HR systems, ensuring data accuracy across SG, MY and TH markets
-
Support the coordination of employee lifecycle processes — onboarding, probation confirmations, transfers, and exits
-
Assist with preparation of internal communication, HR Reports, MOM surveys, dashboards and trackers as required by HRBPs
Shared Services & Operations Support
-
Support the HR Executive in managing SSC-related administrative tasks, including preparing documentation, tracking and following up on requests
-
Support the HR Executive in tracking and following up on operational HR matters (e.g. payroll inputs, benefit enrolments, leave records)
-
Coordinate responses to standard employee queries on HR policies and direct escalations to the relevant HRBP
-
Supporting coordination with the Finance team to provide accurate HR data for employee-related payments (e.g. cost centre allocation)
Cross-Market Coordination
-
Provide administrative support to the Malaysia and Thailand HRBPs and the Singapore HR lead, including scheduling, document preparation, and meeting coordination
-
Assist with ad hoc HR admin requests from the India market on an as-needed basis, ensuring timely follow-through
-
Help track HR project milestones and action items across markets, flagging any delays to the team
-
Assist with collating and organising materials for HR initiatives, training sessions, and townhalls
Employee Engagement (Execution Support)
-
Support the Office Manager in employee engagement activities — including vendor coordination, RSVPs, material preparation, and contributing to creative ideation
-
Assist with post-event follow-ups such as surveys, feedback collation, and attendance tracking
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
-
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
-
Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR compliance
-
High attention to detail — comfortable working with documentation and data entry
-
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is an advantage
-
Discreet, professional, and able to handle sensitive and confidential information
Good to Have
-
Prior internship or part-time experience in an HR or admin function
-
Exposure to multi-country or regional HR operations
-
Familiarity with any Shared Services or HR operations model
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN
-
Hands-on exposure to multi-market HR operations across Southeast Asia and India
-
Experience working within a structured HR team with clear functional ownership
