Travel Retail Intern

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
We are looking for a Marketing Intern responsible for the support and execution of social media and influencer marketing in the Travel Retail Asia Pacific team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be assisting to achieve strategic and communications goals of the brands and further strengthen your skills in marketing communications esp. on media, social media as well as public relations.
THE ROLE
- Work as part of a team to serve as the liaison between marketing, cross-functional teams and external agencies
- Build and update monthly influencer marketing reports (including internal brands and external competitor monitoring & studies)
- Consolidate orders for Internal Purchase Requisition and help in unpacking and allocation when goods arrived as well as distribute to relevant third parties
- Manage, organize & track samples for launches
- Assist in the coordination & execution of key events such as Influencer PR events, Tax-Free World Exhibitions, influencer paid & unpaid seeding
- Assist in coordination & execution of key activities on media such as OOH/ trade media assets replacement and communications
- Admin support to help the team raise POs, contract review and liaise with suppliers on matters relating to PO# and invoices as well as to track expenses/ payment status
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Essentials:
- Bachelor or above degree, third year or above
- Able to commit for at least 6 months for a full-time internship, and work at least 4 working days per week
- Strong desire to learn along with a strong sense of ownership and professional drive esp. in media, social media & public communications
- Strong communication & presentation skills are required; Capable to work in a full English environment while fluent communication in Chinese due to the Travel Retail business nature
- Able to manage projects under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, able to work and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
- Precise & accurate on numbers and reporting
- Microsoft Office knowledge is mandatory, especially Excel & PowerPoint
Desirable:
- Degree in marketing-related discipline
- Fun, positive, creative and innovative; in tune with the latest beauty trends
