ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
The role will be based in Shanghai, China. This role is CMI Manager and reporting into Skincare GM
THE ROLE
Your key areas of responsibility will be the following:
- Drive strong consumer and shopper centricity and the yearly learning agenda for China go-to-market
- Lead market and Coty performance review and guide business strategy
- Lead shopper journey study and guide path-to-purchase across functions
- Bring insights to life in an impactful way to drive action. Including understanding of motivations, attitudes, barriers and behaviors.
- Bridge global insight team and local market organization to drive synergy
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- 8+ years agency or FMCG experience, preferably on a variety of brands / category within Beauty and a mix of business
- Experience on various businesses and in quant and qual techniques.
- Proven ability to manage complex questions and operate constructively with local leaders and Global teams.
- Strong Commercial sense to drive action and strong consumer / category centricity
- High level of executive maturity and communication skills to interact and influence all levels of the business.
- Expertise in a range of ad hoc research techniques, particularly: Market data analysis, Data tools on digital and e-com platform, Pricing (Conjoint), Shopper research, Syndicated research, Bases Volume Forecast and drivers, Qualitative techniques including Semiotics, ethnography
- Ability to leverage / integrate existing data sets when information is not available
- Experience of managing budgets and working with suppliers to ensure actionable results, on time, best cost.
