The role will report to Retail Manager and support both sell-in and sell-out
The retail specialist is responsible for ensuring and enhancing our visibility in store, promotional activities and maintaining permanent brand exposure. You will support and guide the Key Account Manager in the negotiation and ensure excellence in in-store execution. You will be in charge of supporting, animating across Hainan Island with the rest of the Retail Specialists based in China.
You are to assist in local negotiations with store managers together with other retail specialists to maximize in-store visibility and merchandising. You are also expected to share in store feedback with both the sales and marketing team and fulfil the global merchandising guidelines in store.

•    Establish the link with retailer counterparts for Promotion activity development.
•    Work closely with marketing teams to develop creative and profitable promotional concepts for brand building.
•    Implement the promotional programs agreed with the retailers
•    Encourage and motivate retailers’ sales staff to execute these plans and meet sales objectives
•    Ensure the optimization of our spaces in existing, refurbished or new shops
•    Implement COTY Brands’ image in all doors according to guidelines established by Regional Merchandiser
•    Ensure that merchandising, assortment, planograms are implemented according to company/brand guidelines
•    Elaborate tools for optimization of use of testers, POS materials, transparencies and promo visuals
•    Increase brand exposure and find space opportunities to develop TR Exclusive Lines in all doors and enlarge assortments as much as possible in Hainan 
•    Establish clear action plan for retail sales development including obtaining market information
•    Obtain, compile and analyse regular sell-out data for optimization of retail strategy (assortment definition, merchandising, BA support…)
•    Build and maintain close relationship with retailers’ sales & operational teams to strengthen COTY’s position.
•    Organize incentives, trainings, objectives for the staff (BAs) in coordination with the KA Manager negotiated promo plans
•    Find optimized coverage of staff support according to existing team and identify needs and potential uplift

•    University Graduate, Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics background.
•    Min. 2 to 3 years’ experience in sales and/or Marketing
•    Excellent written and spoken communication
•    Excellent in planning
•    Good communication and team-building abilities
•    Ability to work in a Multinational environment and in a fast paced and changing product category experience is a plus.
•    Excellent Excel knowledge for office applications. Vlookup etc.
•    Industry knowledge, Travel Retail experience and Regional exposure is a plus
