ROLE AND DEPARTMENT  

The Logistics team operates across the entire Coty business and provides exceptional service to our customer through our logistics network. The team operates on daily bases to deliver a competitive advantage to our partners by setting the strategy and frameworks, as well continues improvement of our operations.

THE ROLE

• Project management: Identify improvement opportunities for China logistics and lead the project as a center of excellence. Projects for example: DTC, China network design, bonded warehouse capacity improvement, Hainan lead time optimization, Safety stock for Hainan, etc…

• Hainan operation lead: Manage and lead the optimization of Hainan logistics flow including freight, labeling and inter bonded warehouse flow . Manage daily operation of Hainan logistics operation and be the contact window with external like bonded warehouse, logistics team from Hainan customer and internal stake holders like regulatory affairs, planning, global CS, finance ,QA and commercial team.

• Support the core objective of accelerating profitable growth with the following priority to deliver:

1. End to end operation flow optimization

2. Hainan operation Cost and capital efficiency

3. Process efficiency

4. On time project completion: Hainan STO project, DTC, China network design, bonded warehouse capacity improvement, Hainan lead time optimization, Safety stock for Hainan, etc

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Operation Excellence & Compliance:

• Lead the logistics project: DTC, China network design, bonded warehouse capacity improvement for CSAR challenge, Hainan lead time optimization, Safety stock for Hainan, and other projects from global.

• Identify improvement opportunities for logistics and develop local innovation projects to support the change.

• Sep up and optimization Hainan logistics flow including freight, labeling and inter bonded warehouse flow.

• Ensure import/export shipment on time delivery and arrival to meet Hainan business requirement

• Manage 3PL team’s daily operation, lead regular performance review with 3PL, identify improvement opportunities and organize the resource to ensure smooth daily operation.

• Closely work with planning, Importation, sales, marketing & finance team to understand the business needs and organize logistics resource to support the deliverable of Hainan business result.

• Monthly Hainan operation performance review and reporting.

• Ensure Hainan operations are fully complying with SOP, Company’s logistics standard and local government’s rules & regulations.

• Handle the special case such as customs questioning and Customer’s urgent delivery request independently and with high efficiency.

Cost Efficiency:

• Lead the annual plan for Hainan operation and bonded transportation spending, labeling monitor and ensure the spending is within budget

• Closely work with 3PL to deliver productivity improvement.

Project Management:

1. Be the leader for the project of: DTC, China network design, bonded warehouse capacity improvement, Hainan lead time optimization, Safety stock for Hainan, and other project from global…etc·

2. Develop the project plan, manage the timeline, report the progress, identify the risks and opportunities, establish the improvement, and enforce the execution to ensure project target achieved.

System Integration:

• Anticipate the potential  system change and impact and lead the change.

Be the key user for logistics module, lead UAT and system implementation and enhancement, document the operation manual and train the team on system application.

Team capability build support:

• Partner Logistics Lead in process and team performance delivery

• As Master transfer adequate skills and know-how sharing for operation excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Essential:

1.  Project management skills

2. Bachelor or above, preferred in logistic, supply chain, purchasing, etc

3. 10 years supply chain/import & export/ bonded warehouse working experience

4. Problem solving skills in process optimization, daily operations ,shipments tracking, Customs declaration and intercompany shipping issue.

5. Good connection with customs, freight forwarding, and customs brokerage agents

6. Fluent speaking/written/read skill in English and Chinese

7. Self-motivated leader and team player
