Brand Manager- Fragrance

This is a unique role who can lead marketing and commercial plans for one of Coty’s most important markets.




As our Brand Manager identifies business opportunities and works with the multi-functional team to build & deliver cohesive commercial plans! You are expected to lead and collaborate with different subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end plans to drive growth in this key market.

The role is to be responsible for Coty’s ultra-premium niche fragrance brand in China. Owning the Go-to-Market strategy & working to create strong retail presence, as well as upgrade customer experience across off & online touchpoints.


Your main focus :


The Brand Manager is of product category portfolio management and achieve total category business sell-in/sellout target by activating consumer with product news, events, and integrated marketing support.

Market Understanding and analysis

  • Market understanding and analysis including niche & ultra-premium collections
  • Monitoring competitor’s launches, activities
  • To understand niche collection users and their satisfactions/dissatisfactions, expectations
  • To understand potential consumers and their needs

Product & Retail Management

  • To develop localized marketing calendar based on global innovation plan and local KCPs.
  • To maximize the impact of product launches through all related dimensions of communication, such as advertising, merchandising, PR, CRM, in-store activities, etc.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure all MKT activities are executed according to strategy and ensure operational excellency being implemented, in terms of timeline, follow-ups & tracking.
  • To work with communication/IM manager on the implementation of monthly social/media plan and meeting deadlines.
  • To prepare advertising materials to maximize the effectiveness of consumer education and communication with global validation.
  • To monitor and evaluate the promotional activities with support from retail marketing on KPI (new recruit & sellout) 
  • POSM Management





As an experienced Brand Manager, you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:


  • 5-6+ years’ experience in Marketing, native niche fragrance & ultra-premium luxury collection will be a credit. With excellent track record in innovation rollouts and flawless launch management, S&OP.
  • Project Management: Ability to inspire and lead team, hold them accountable to deliver project deliverables
  • Strong communication, and good at coordinating and mobilizing the internal and external resources. Fluent Mandarin & English capability.
  • Strong beauty sense and Luxury taste.
