ABOUT COTY KOREA

Established in 2012, Coty Korea has a joint venture (JV) business with LG H&H. Main brands are Gucci, Burberry, Tiffany&Co, Chloe, Philosophy, CK, Adidas, just to name a few. Additionally, Coty operates some direct business in the territory. As a compact entity, most functions work individually, linking with the JV partners. Due to its structural nature, SCM is one of the crucial functions in Korea, directly connecting with JV and managing forecast/supply, and formed with strong teamwork. We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager who wishes to grow and enjoy the career journey together.

 

THE ROLE

Responsible for all aspects of SCM within the business unit, including stakeholder management with the Joint Venture (JV) and strong internal links to regional and global teams.

This role is responsible for three main areas: Customer Service (50%), Demand/Supply Planning (20%) and the S&OP process (30%).  Key deliverables being the Global Supply KPI’s (Service, Cost, Cash). This is achieved by close cross-functional collaboration and a strong S&OP process. In addition the role will lead projects as necessary, ensuring successful delivery through collaborative working relationships.

This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone with a strong SAP/Customer Service/Master Data background wishing to own broader SCM responsibility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily customer service operations, ensuring high standards and satisfaction, and serve as the primary contact between distribution and retailers for issue resolution.
  • Provide resolution for advanced customer issues, while building and maintaining relationships with all customers, both internal and external.
  • Lead process reviews to promote continuous improvement of service levels.
  • Create and maintain master data in SAP system as needed.
  • Provide regular reporting on performance against service KPI’s.
  • Continuously improve customer service systems to streamline procedures and reduce operating costs.
  • Monitor the service and liaise with logistics on issues relating to order processing, deliveries, returns/rejections.
  • Coordinate the BU S&OP process and cycles, ensuring quality and accurate data and alignment between S&OP, financial forecasts and the forecasting system (o9).
  • Excellence in demand planning, sending an accurate demand signal to the planning hubs and subsequently manufacturing and sourcing. Including launch sizing. Measurement MAPE90, SPP1/3.
  • Supply planning, ensuring that service and revenue is optimized with available stock whilst integrating commercial and marketing inputs.
  • Work with the Customer Service support team in MY ensuring deployment orders are efficiently processed and released, delivery window requirements are captured.
  • Act as the escalation point to the global team for local quality/demand/supply issues.
  • Building strong cross-functional collaboration locally, and with global and regional teams overseas
  • Ensure a strong matrix relationship and link with the local logistics team: DCs and Transport
  • Championing continuous improvement to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and RCA of KPI misses

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • A strong end to end SC knowledge with a deep understanding of order management for department store and EC business models.
  • Commercial experience with the ability to engage and influence teams
  • Previous experience in running a S&OP process and/or demand planning
  • Collaboration – working with people, customers – across other teams/disciplines with conflicting priorities
  • Change management – proven experience of leading transformation/change (bonus if have been part of the design)
  • Continuous improvement – evidence of concept, design and roll out to improve results
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy – advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP required.
