THE ROLE

Objective

  • Build the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives for a portfolio of fragrance brands to achieve brand equity and P&L targets in the Korean market, while aligning with each brand’s global direction and distinct DNA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Brand & Portfolio Planning

  • Develop annual brand strategies and marketing calendars for multiple fragrance brands, balancing resources to maximize portfolio growth.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis (fragrance trends, consumer olfactory preferences, competitive landscape, and pricing) to inform strategic directions.
  • Identify specific market opportunities for each brand within the portfolio to avoid cannibalization and ensure distinct positioning.
  • Act as the voice of the Korean market, providing insights on local fragrance trends and scent preferences to guide global innovation and product assortment.

2. Marketing Execution & Campaign Management

  • Lead 360° brand campaigns with a strong focus on storytelling, scent visualization, and emotional connection.
  • Own the execution of new scent launches, including sampling strategies, pop-up events, fragrance masterclasses, influencer/KOL strategy, and media planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of brand plans across all the channels.
  • Monitor brand KPIs including market share, ranking in the fragrance category, and campaign ROI.

3. Portfolio & Product Management

  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for negotiations, reporting, and approvals.
  • Strategically manage the product assortment to ensure relevance and competitiveness for the Korean market.

4. Budget & P&L Management

  • Build and manage the marketing budget; ensure optimal resource allocation across the brand portfolio.
  • Track performance across channels and marketing levers.
  • Work closely with Finance to monitor P&L components, ensuring profitability across the portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Marketing, Business, or related field).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing and/or brand management, preferably with a strong background in the Fragrance or Beauty industry.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple brands (Portfolio Management) simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of beauty, fragrance, and the storytelling required for high-end perfumery.
  • Team leadership or managerial experience preferred.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English (spoken and written); skilled in multi-stakeholder communication.
