Demand Planner Benelux

 

 

 

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

COTY is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Coty Benelux organization. As Demand Planner, you will own 18 months forecast for a complex dynamic portfolio. You will manage systems, reporting, and communication needed to deliver the 50/50 demand plan for several brands in the Benelux region. This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners. The role requires a high level of multi-functional collaboration, focus on details, and agility to deliver the dynamic planning needs of the market.

 

THE ROLE

The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with the assigned brands / product groups. This includes creating and maintaining forecast models, integrating business intelligence and inputs from sales, marketing, finance, customers, and other sources. The Demand Planner is the Supply Chain integration point into the commercial organization and plays a crucial role in the monthly S&OP process of the business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Review & maintain the demand plan for multiple time horizons
  • Review sales trends, research demand drivers, collect forecast data, and maintain statistical forecast models
  • Using SAP, Business Intelligence, and the JDA planning tool to support the S&OP processes
  • Reconcile significant variances and run root-cause-analysis to align internal & external action plans
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach in working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that accurate information is used for alignment meetings, reviews and plans
  • Coordinate and communicate customer action plans with factories, and supply planning, co-packing, & customer service teams for optimal service level
  • Work with Initiative and Marketing teams to determine timelines for and sizing of promotional and new products forecasts. Coordinate and collaborate in Pre-S&OP meetings.
  • Monitor and evaluate KPIs such as service level, forecast accuracy, stock levels and costs. The process includes identifying gaps, recommending and implementing actions to improve performance in key areas.
  • Maintain accurate assortment list incl. timely info on innovations, discontinuations and renovations / restages

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

 

Key Requirements

  • University Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of Demand Planner experience in a FMCG environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in Dutch and English
  • SAP ERP knowledge, JDA is a plus
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • A passion for beauty
