Within the Supply Chain function sit our Planning teams. With a population of over three hundred people these teams are a competitor leading, purpose built Global Hub, covering a multitude of Planning areas where we share best practice in a centralized and standard way to deliver industry leading service at best cost and the right level of inventory.

Our Global Supply Planning team is an important part of Coty’s business. Sitting within the Planning zone of the Supply Chain function the team are responsible for ensuring our products are made and delivered to the right distribution centres, on time and in full. This is achieved by delivering the best balance of service, inventory, cost and sustainability, that delivers the Company’s revenue and cashflow objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The RDM Planner Co-op supports Regional Delivery Management by reviewing customer orders, inventory availability, back-in-stock dates, allocation priorities, and routing requirements. The planner makes timely, data-based allocation decisions so the Distribution Center can release and ship orders accurately, on time, and in line with customer requirements.

 

Your main focus:

  • Review open customer orders and allocate available inventory so the Distribution Center can release and ship orders on time.
  • Analyze order, inventory, shortage, and back-in-stock data to determine whether orders should be allocated, held, cut, or rescheduled.
  • Apply established allocation priorities, customer requirements, and routing rules consistently.
  • Monitor orders approaching required allocation and ship dates, identify exceptions, and escalate risks promptly.
  • Communicate allocation decisions, shortages, date issues, and recommended actions to Customer Service, Distribution Center, and Planning partners.
  • Maintain accurate system data and complete daily allocation activities within established timelines.
  • Support month-end and peak-volume execution, including flexible hours when business needs require.
  • Follow standard work and contribute practical ideas that improve allocation accuracy, service, and process efficiency.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; work towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering,  Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort reviewing large data sets to make accurate, timely decisions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, lookups, and basic formulas.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet daily deadlines, follow standard processes, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience with SAP or other order-management, ERP, or warehouse systems is helpful but not required.

 

Key Success Measures:

  • Orders allocated by the required allocation date to support on-time shipping.
  • Accurate application of inventory, back-in-stock, customer-priority, and routing rules.
  • Clear, timely communication of shortages, holds, cuts, and date issues.
  • Consistent execution of allocation strategies and standard work.
  • Contribution to fill-rate, ship-on-time, and service targets.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Run and review daily reports containing large volumes of order, inventory, and supply data.
  • Match available stock to customer orders using documented allocation strategies and business priorities.
  • Use confirmed back-in-stock dates to reschedule orders and support informed hold-versus-cut decisions.
  • Confirm orders meet routing, ship-window, and other customer-specific requirements before allocation.
  • Research allocation exceptions, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex or high-impact situations.
  • Coordinate daily with Customer Service, Distribution Center Operations, Inventory, Quality, and Supply Planning teams.
  • Prepare concise action reporting on orders at risk, potential cuts, and allocation decisions.
  • Learn and use planning and order-management systems effectively, following controls and documented procedures.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Use the processes, systems, and tools available to ensure all tasks are value add.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the area of responsibility, raising these as appropriate and implementing successfully (where possible).

 

  • Ability to effectively communicate clearly in English
