In this 50% remote role as a Process Planning Expert at Coty, you’ll ensure sustainable capability in the Supply Planning Organization including the following: 1st level support for MPS/MSP Planning team members, process improvement, tools support, parameter maintenance, training and reporting activities. You’ll also enable the department to increase productivity, improve service and reduce inventory providing tools, reports and KPIs and making recommendations based on these last ones.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the definition and implementation of Daily Management System, and track its KPIs to ensure its correct implementation
- Screening how local planning process are aligned with best practices across the available tools
- Acting as a liaison between the process champions (PPEs) and the planners, understanding global best practices and local planning end-to-end processes.
- Following-up the corrective actions status for changes impacting local processes
- Participating in the identification of training needs with PPE process champions and planning directors
- Delivering local training to the planning community when required
- Using supply reports to identify issues with current policies, which need to be corrected
- Using alerts to identify significant changes in inventory parameter values at SKU level, and coordinate with impacted departments on how to move forward (markets, planners, ...)
- Gathering, understanding, and agreeing on the different inputs for the statistical safety stock calculation tool (target service level, forecast variability, supply variability, min/max ranges…)
- Following-up the corrective actions status for changes
- Assisting planners in their day-to-day questions
- Troubleshooting technical related issues (batch jobs, interfaces, authorizations, performance)
- Fostering the usage of a ticketing tool (when available, i.e. TSRM) by planners
- Being aware of tool maintenance activities and upgrades to assure proper performance for both JDA and ERP
- Reporting issues (tickets) by category (root cause analysis), and identify potential actions with the PPE coordinator to fix them (reinforce training, create a DMS, suggest a process / tool change to IM / Global PPEs…)
- Supporting planning director in preparation of reports
- Defining reporting cross planning organization standards
- Investigating on how to harmonize reporting processes and pilot changes across planning organizations
- Understanding daily tasks performed by planners and propose ways/tools to simplify these tasks and increase productivity.
- Analysing E&O reports with planners to propose changes to minimize the excess (MOQs, expiration, life cycle management, etc…)
- Understanding and define default parameters for all products and tools (JDA and ERP)
- Defining / updating the Parameter Accuracy DMS (for JDA and local ERP tools)
- Running master data quality checks to identify maintenance issues in JDA and local tools. Forward Parameter Accuracy results to planners, and define & track corrective actions
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Extract / Prepare reports based on defined work instructions and communicate to recipients. Propose improvements.
- Guarantee reliability, availability, adherence of all the data, and systems used by the planning department,
- employing a business-driven approach, which ensures alignment between processes, tools, and people capabilities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING |

Knowledge:
- Background in Planning or Purchasing and Project Management.
- Systems and process expert.
Functional / Technical Skills:
- ERP Computer applications (JDA, SAP, Oracle).
- Desktop applications (Access, Excel, Visio, Power-point, Power BI).
- Database structure.
- VBA
Abilities:
- Teacher, facilitator, Tool expert.
Education Requirements:
- B.S. Business or Computer Science.
- Professional certification
