Your main focus:
- Installation of production and manufacturing equipment.
- Changeover and Setup the packaging/production equipment and documenting.
- Maintenance of machinery
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical problems.
- Effectively communicate with directors, managers, supervisors, other mechanics and outside vendors.
- Organize and maintain tooling/change parts of equipment.
- Perform all responsibilities with good safety and housekeeping practices.
- Improve the performance and efficiency of the packaging/production machines.
- Lead a team to provide mechanical/electrical support to a project with minimal direction.
- Lead a team of mechanics to schedule and perform preventive maintenance on the packaging and processing equipment and documenting.
- Maintain a good record of preventive maintenance performed on the machines and resolve the frequently occurring problems.
- Follow all site GMP policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS |
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
- Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent
- A level 10 mechanic should consistently perform above expectations. The individual should possess analytical thinking and ability to make decisions in equipment repairs. A level 10 is expected to perform his / her duties to high standards in the areas of safety and timeliness and would be expected to share their knowledge with others.
- Knowledge of power wiring
- Knowledge of Control Systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging processes or related field
- Mathematically inclined and able to perform a minimum of 9th grade math
- Knowledge of general computer applications: Lotus Notes, Excel, MS Word
- Technically and mechanically inclined within production units
- Communicates effectively with directors, managers, supervisors, operators, outside visitors and peers
- Self-starter
- Innovator
- Ability to learn and understand technical concepts
- Takes direction well
- Shares knowledge with others
- Can handle change and learn new technology in relatively short time
- Good leadership and organizational qualities
- Ability to lead within a production environment
- Ability to troubleshoot production units in order to determine root cause
- Technical, Electrical and Mechanical Skills
