The EXO QA Sr. Manager will lead the team and provide collaborative support to the broader EXO and Quality structure and beyond.  They will implement the Quality strategy within the area of responsibilities and improve quality processes and standards for TPMs and also deliver departmental goals and objectives in accordance with the Coty supply chain strategy and QA policy while incorporating specific regulatory requirements.

 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Ensure compliance to Coty QA policy and external regulations to ensure our customers and consumers receive Quality products
  • Host external Bodies and Health Authorities in his/her scope for any inspection on products
  • Release of EXO Coty products in scope
  • Manage, report and investigate any product non conformance
  • Is responsible for Quality System and harmonization of standard practices in scope
  • Create, document and implement all systems and processes necessary to meet deployed QA targets and objectives
  • Collaborates cross functionally in the supply chain to achieve all KPI’s
  • Optimize productivity of the QA function
  • Deploy Coty QA policy and strategy across the Vendors network
  • Deploy and standardize the global TPM Qualification program
  • Manage vendors audits and adhere to the audit plan by performing assigned audits according to the latest regulatory requirements (FDA OTC, EU 1233/2009, ISO 22716)
  • Build and sustain CAPA programs and communication with the vendors
  • Assign Quality KPIs to vendors and follow up as needed
  • Coordinates the collection of Quality KPIs and drive continuous quality improvements (systems, processes, capability)
  • Plans, conducts and supervises assignments and is ultimately responsible for meeting objectives within the area of responsibility
  • Manage his/her direct reports ensuring that all employees receive adequate training and development to cope with the job and changes
  • Conducts the review and evaluation of the personnel in the department
  • Ensures that all company and departmental policies and procedures are implemented by the department personnel
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

 

 

 

Knowledge:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree (4 year) in Sciences or Management, Master degree preferred.  
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience 
  • TQM skills  
  • FDA experience desirable  
  • Experience with GMPs
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • Strong Knowledge of the QA Guidelines is needed as well as the local regulations regarding Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Deep knowledge of the industrialization processes especially for new products, mainly on the success criteria setting.  
  • Knowledge of TQM methodology and processes management.
  • Knowledgeable of customary quality assurance testing schemes.  
  • Knowledgeable of customary Bulk and finished goods testing schemes.  
  • Knowledgeable of GDPs, GMPs.  
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of Production Packing Processes, filling and finishing techniques and Industrialization Processes.  
  • Possess budget management and statistical knowledge.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root-cause, recommend options, prioritize and implement appropriate solutions. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Must have strong people skills and the ability to effectively manage people, programs, and projects

  • Effectively work and communicate with other departments in the organization as well as external parties (TPM, Suppliers)
