THE ROLE

 

We are looking for our new Marketing Manager / Chef de Groupe in the Burberry International development team. A fragrance expert that is passionate about products innovations and product development in the luxury field.

You will be in charge of 2 of the brand pillars, development of giftsets and report to a Fragrance Senior Marketing Director.

 

 

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The marketing manager will be in charge of the strategy of the franchises he / she is responsible for and will participate in the fragrance franchise positioning in key markets to recommend strategic moves and develop new business opportunities and cerate the 3Y relevant launch plan for these lines (key product initiatives, concepts, big idea, innovation, new campaign, …). Keeping close link with markets needs and trade marketing to work on relevant offer and align on strategy

 

He/she will:

  • Define and develop the best outstanding support 360 toolboxes to achieve successful new launches or support existing lines aligned with markets and commercial needs. All projects / 360s need to be developed with consistency with brand values and with a focus on creativity / out of the box mindset and with sustainability in mind.
  • Oversee his/her product category grow by leading the product development process and designing powerful 360° activations in collaboration with all support teams.
  • Drive industrial development with experts teams (R&D, labs, supply)
  • Develop Giftset offer for Burberry brand in collaboration with tTrade Marketing team
  • Follow up financials KPIs / performances tracking
    • Budget follow up: be in charge of franchise/pillar budget
    • Monitor sales (market shares, turnover, net sales, ensure the cost tracking and the profitability of the lines under responsibility)

 

  • Relationship with fashion house and Burberry internal creative studio for all assets development (products and campaigns from the brief to execution)
  • Management team of 2 people: drive business and have them grow

  • Soft Skills: agility, precision, decision making, flexibility, good spirit, facilitate teamwork,
  • Understanding Fragrance category to recommend right strategy (consumer, market specificities…)

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

 

  • 5-year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Related Field, MBA preferred
  • Between 5 and 7+ years of Global marketing experience, 2+ years at brand manager level . Knowledge in promotional and gifsets development would be appreciated
  • English > fluent
  • French > nice to have
