Global Initiative Manager - Value Protection

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Global Initiative Manager (GIM) within Value Protection takes responsibility for both Luxury and Consumer Goods portfolio, leading projects across all brands for Fragrances, Skincare and Make-up.  The GIM operates projects across several brands as the ‘orchestra conductor’ helping to drive collaboration in defining and executing the project plan (Critical Path Schedule) with colleagues in Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory, Artwork, Procurement and Category Marketing and bring their expertise in for an efficient PIPO management to deliver compliant products ensuring the outstanding, breakthrough results.

The GIM is the key resource for base business continuity. It involves managing highly complex projects with a huge impact on Base Business impacted by both regulation compliance roles and Coty guidelines such as sustainability roadmap. For this, supply chain understanding is key to drive results in the most efficient way possible from cost and compliance. Operate through influence to guide multifunctional team working across all categories and brands, leading to correct prioritization, and ensuring adherence to the plan, you will collaborate closely with Planning Hub and Site Initiative Leaders in Supply who take responsibility for the product execution project plan – although the Global Initiative Manager maintains accountability in the end-to-end process.

Your main focus:

• Lead project advancement with multifunctional teams, including supply chain, artwork, R&D formula, and others to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain a consistent drumbeat, implementing action plans with multifunctional teams as needed
• Utilize analytical skills to drive coherent prioritization and planning, leveraging knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Ensure business continuity by delivering compliant products on time, avoiding net revenue gaps, and mitigating potential risks

The team consists of 3 other GIM colleagues and one Brand Initiative Leader and you will work closely together with several departments such as R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Planning, Artwork, etc.

As an experienced Global Initiative Manager you are dedicated to drive the business, overcoming the real-life constraints and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you have:

• Engineering or Business Management Degree preferred, not mandatory
• 2-4 years project management/planning experience – Strong Microsoft excel
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Understanding of MRP system logic
• Exposure to production environment & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing
• Motivation to work in a multicultural and challenging environment.
