Consumer Trends & Market insight Project Manager

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
In the Global Luxury Consumer & Marketing Insights department, you will contribute to:
- Support the Coty Luxury division by delivering trends knowledge across all Beauty categories (Fragrance, Make-up, Skincare),
- Support the Lancaster skincare brand in delivering the relevant evaluation plan and sharing market & category knowledge to support their business
You will directly report to the Global Insights, Trends & Prospective Director,
With the support of the Global Insights, Trends and Prospective Director and the Senior Manager of the team; you will be responsible for:
1 / Trends
- Leverage our Trends & insights materials (WGSN, Beautystreams, Mintel, Spate…) to support internal partners across all beauty categories, especially luxury skincare brands
- Provide Coty beauty teams with regular and relevant trend insights (desk research, newsletters, TikTok trend reports, competitive launch tracking, social listening…)
- Manage and animate our internal trend platform (SharePoint Online): uploading reports, frameworks, …
- Contribute to trend engagement and amplification across platforms, tools and internal events used by the department
- Provide support for Business Review updates for the organization
2 / European skincare brand support
For the Lancaster Brand
- Contribute to translating marketing objectives into appropriate methodologies
- Contribute to the design and execution of global qualitative and quantitative tests
- Manage studies from questionnaire/screener design through to reporting
- Manage logistics, project timelines and communication with all partners
- Deliver actionable insights with clear business implications and recommendations
- Present results to relevant stakeholders and facilitate discussions
- Contribute to category strategic framework at worldwide level: analytics, brand performance, trends, category long-term evolution, white space identification
- Collaborate closely with analytical and U&A teams to leverage learnings and better understand category users, brand positioning, and identify key opportunities for the business
- Explore and synthesize macro and beauty skincare trends
- Maximize the value of existing sources, conduct desk research, identify gaps and provide recommendations on additional information sources
- Provide the brand with transversal category knowledge through trend reports, desk research and competitive analysis
- Interface with Product Marketing, R&D, Digital teams, and other stakeholders, considering consumers and their current and future needs in their plans
- Provide support for Business Review updates for the organization
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Master’s degree in Business/Marketing or from Sciences Po, an engineering school or equivalent
- At least 2 years of CMI experience within beauty companies
- Experience in skincare or fragrance is a nice to have
- Analytical mindset, with the capacity to summarize & extract key insights with a clear purpose
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Data-oriented mindset
- Rigorous, responsive, curious and proactive
- Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Interest in beauty and consumer trends
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential in this role
- Experience with AI tools is a plus
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders
- English is the company language. French is a bonus but not required.
