CMI Business Analyst Job description
In the Global Luxury Consumer & Marketing Insights department, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the CMI Director, your role will be to develop market and category analysis to help the Luxury division leaders in understanding Coty Luxury brands’ performance in the Luxury Beauty market and shaping their strategy by providing them brand, category and market intelligence.
Based in Paris, you will get to work across different markets and brands, as well as a breadth of internal stakeholders and departments
You will have to collaborate with and make sure the CMI knowledge is embedded into the decision process. You will also get trained on several consumer/market understanding tools.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Collecting, analyzing, and sharing a various set of quantitative data to help shape the Luxury Division’s strategy by understanding Coty brands and competitors’ performances in the Luxury Beauty market
- Building reporting tools to ease market and performance analysis
- Shaping analysis and insights on markets, distribution channels, categories, brands performances & innovations to drive recommendations against key business drivers
- Supporting Senior Leadership meetings by providing relevant analyses
- Understanding the dynamics of our categories and the new beauty targets to generate insights
- Supporting the global marketing teams and provide guidance in developing their strategy and their mix for a portfolio of brands

Required skills
- A first experience/internship in business intelligence, data analytics or market insights would be a plus
- You have a strong analytical & synthetical mind
- You have a good understanding of strategic issues with a capacity to summarize & extract key insights with a clear purpose (data visualization)
- You are rigorous, responsive, curious and proactive
- You are agile and have excellent planning and organization skills: you can work under short timing in a dynamic environment, and are able to multitask and meet deadlines, responding to issues quickly and creatively with an open and positive attitude
- You drive projects with autonomy
- You have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Other
Fluent in French and English (English is the company language)
Knowledge of retail panels such as NPD is a plus
Interest in the beauty categories
