FINANCE SENIOR MANAGER, PRESTIGE GLOBAL BRAND FINANCE

We are looking for a Finance Senior Manager to join our Prestige Global Brand Finance team in Paris. This role reports to the Prestige Brand Finance Director and will work closely on a portfolio of Prestige global brands, liaising with various levels of management cross-functionally as well as Finance teams across the world.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing one Financial Analyst and partnering closely with the Marketing SVPs of Prestige brands to (A) drive the strategy and financial modelling behind the brands’ new innovations and (B) manage Advertising & Consumer Promotional spend budgets.

A. Strategic Brand Management

• Co-pilot with Global Brand Marketing leadership in driving choices and building long-term strategies, while overseeing the innovation portfolio value for each respective brand.
• Ensure innovation financials adhere to the wider organization’s goals and predetermined financial criteria.  Identify optimization opportunities of current models and sources for future growth.
• Represent Finance in the monthly initiative management alignment process with cross-functional teams, and ensure mitigation plans are in place for all financial risks.
• Prepare forecasted and historic financial data to licensor fashion houses (as contractually required) and internal teams as needed.
• Support ad hoc requests of Global Brand Marketing teams, including financial modelling.

B. Advertising & Consumer Promotional budget management

• Oversee the budgets utilized by Global Brand Marketing, Consumer Marketing Insights, Merchandising, and Education in the development of new innovations providing actionable insights and optimization.
• Lead Financial planning process for all categories within the scope, including an Annual Operating Plan and monthly Outlook / Forecast resubmissions.
• Manage the month end close, including journal entry approvals, balance sheet review, and reporting & analytics provided to various levels of the organization.

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
• 5+ years business experience, part of which was in a managerial role.
• Ability to work independently, under general direction, and develop creative solutions to problems.
• Strong analytical and accounting skills, creativity, and flexibility.
• Demonstrate effective organization, communication, and team skills.
• Ability to deal with diverse levels of financial and operating personnel in a multi-national organization, while aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Deadline oriented and the ability to easily adapt to changes and multi-task.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel.

Desirable:

• FMCG background
• Knowledge of Hyperion, SAP, BW Hana and Anaplan
• Brand Finance and innovation modelling experience

This is a unique role in that the Senior Manager will work across multiple brands and will have the opportunity to work with various functions, such as Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, Legal, and Corporate Finance.
