Internship : Finance Co-pilot Brands and Fixed Costs

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT 

Own and orchestrate Coty France Luxury & Consumer Beauty Fixed Costs (Fc) and Advertising Consumer & Promotion (A&CP) spend analysis, reporting, forecasting, monitoring and planning processes. Coordinate monthly reporting tasks for the business on division / function/ account level and simplify / standardize FC and A&CP processes where possible. Closely collaborate with Head of finance, HR and Marketing team to prepare BU inputs for corporate reporting and analysis.

THE ROLE 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Business partnering - Act as a copilot/single point of contact for GMs, Head of Finance, HR and Marketing team on A&CP and FC related topics.
• Budget/Forecast - Lead preparation of A&CP and FC forecast updates, coordinating input from key stakeholders (CFOS, HR, Marketing team, Custodians etc). Ensure HR department owns translation of headcount plans into personnel cost outlook.
• Month end Closing - Support month-end process on A&CP and FC accounts, ensuring proper distribution of actuals across divisions and full compliance with Coty policies/U.S. GAAP. Coordinate B/S reconciliations and variances analyses.
• Reporting - Prepare monthly A&CP and FC reporting for all stakeholders, standardized across divisions / teams. Enable ongoing budget tracking process owned by Brands leaders for A&CP, and by GM and CFO for FC, and ensure full visibility of risks/opportunities
• Capex Coordinate and support marketing furniture process, Capex budgeting/approvals, depreciation forecast and B/S controls.
• Other - Ensure effective and standardized system infrastructure (cost center governance and creation) in place- Licensor audit support (where applicable) - Support geographical and functional A&CP and FC benchmarking exercises when there are - Ad-Hoc reporting and analyses based on business needs - Support and perform SOX compliance tasks in the area of A&CP and FC.

We’d love to see candidates who has:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance & Accounting
• Very strong Excel skills and systems experience
• Prior experience in Custodian/Accounting roles appreciated (but not mandatory)
• French is mandatory
