(CDD) Junior Insights, Trends & Prospective Project Manager

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

In the Global Luxury Consumer & Marketing Insights department, you will be responsible for supporting the Lancaster skincare brand and fueling transversal skincare category knowledge and fueling Trends knowledge across all beauty categories (Fragrance, Make-up, Skincare), in order to help Coty prepare for the future and create exciting innovations and experiences.

Reporting to Global Insights, Trends & Prospective Director, you will be responsible for:

 

European skincare brand support

For the Lancaster Brand

  • Translate Marketing objectives into appropriate methodologies
  • Design and execute global qualitative and quantitative tests
  • Manage studies from questionnaire/screener design through to reporting
  • Manage logistics, project timelines and communication with all partners
  • Create actionable reports with business implications & recommendations
  • Present the results to relevant stakeholders, facilitate discussions

-     Provide category strategic frameworks at a worldwide level: analytics, brand performance, trends, long-term category evolution, white-space identification.

-     Collaborate closely with the Analytical and U&A teams to leverage relevant learnings, better understand category users and brand positioning, and identify key business opportunities.

  • Maximize the added value of existing sources, conduct desk research, identify gaps and provide recommendations on additional information sources
  • Fuel the brand with transversal category knowledge trend reports, desk research and competitive business case
  • Interface with Product marketing, R&D, Digital team, and other stakeholders, considering consumers and their needs, current and future, in their plans
  • Provide support for Business Review updates for the organization

-     Explore and synthesize macro and beauty skincare trends.

  • Manage vendor choice, development, relationships, contract negotiations

Trends & Prospective

  • Leverage our trends and insights materials (WGSN, Beautystreams, Mintel, Spate…) to track strong and weak signals across markets, products and insights, in order to fuel our internal MegaTrends and Beauty Trends watch.
  • Fuel the Coty beauty teams with regular, relevant trend insights (desk research, newsletters, TikTok trend reports, competitive launch tracking, social listening…)
  • Manage, fuel and animate our internal platform and window for Trends & Prospective activities (SharePoint Online): upload reports, frameworks, etc.
  • Contribute to trend engagement and amplification by broadly sharing the different platforms, tools and events used by the department.
  • Provide support for Business Review updates for the organization

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Master’s degree in Business/Marketing (or Sciences Po) or an engineering degree (e.g., Agro engineering).
  • At least 2 years of insights CMI experience within beauty companies (including internships or apprenticeship
  • Understanding basic qualitative and quantitative CMi studies (methodologies, screener, questionnaire…)
  • Experience in skincare or fragrance is a nice to have
  • Analytical minded, with the capacity to summarize & extract key insights with a clear purpose.
  • Strong project management/ability to multi-task
  • Data oriented mindset
  • Rigorous, responsive, curious and proactive.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.
  • Interest in beauty and consumer trends
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills & Excel are essential in this role
  • AI tools usage will be a nice to have
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
