THE ROLE: 

Software Developer - Integrations:

• Reports to the Director, Data and Integrations (COTY Digital)
• Manages the hands-on implementation and configuration of integration globally across multiple brands between various Digital, Marketing and e-Commerce platforms.
• Drives analysis of integration between various systems with a particular focus on data, data integrity and reliability.
• Participates in coding to integrate various systems.
• Works closely with internal and external teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of integration work.
• Takes part in Functional Design work for integration to core COTY SAP platforms in conjunction with COTY Enterprise teams.
   

Expected Travel:

• Primarily US-based travel in year 1
• 1 time Globally per fiscal year

• Oversee Analysis Efforts. You will deliver world class analysis.  You will use automation, highly modular and testable code.
• Quality from the core. You will be comfortable reviewing code changes from your team and others, participating in design discussions and providing input to architecture discussions.
• Understand where Engineering meets Business. You will inherently understand that Engineering is successful where it drives business value.  You will always seek to deliver value early and often.
• Measure success. A feature release does not indicate a success, during development you will ensure we have a means of measuring that success.
• Collaborate and Align.  Foster collaboration across engineering and technical teams, as well as with Engineering partners.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently. Setting clear expectations, and frequent communication are key for success.
• Understand that ‘real boats rock’.  All projects have issues, all requirements are incomplete, all implementations are imperfect.  You will not hesitate to raise your hand when your team has an issue, a road-block or even messed something up.  We address problem together.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
 

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on software development and integration experience with strong aptitude for data and integrations
• Proven analysis ability, able to break down integration requirements, system limitations and awareness of integration patterns
• Display a high degree of willingness and ability to understand new business domain, a new product, and the product’s business and technical underpinnings.
   

Technical Skills

• Experience with one or more languages, e.g. Python and JavaScript
• Experience and understanding of HTTP, RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with Functional Designs and Integration
• Experience with AWS is advantageous
   

Soft Skills

• Willingness to participate and engage in technical community within COTY
• A well-developed sense of humor and grace under pressure.

Base Salary Range: $105,000.00-$124,000.00 + bonus
