ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the Coty Group has developed an ambitious, data-driven roadmap to facilitate data-led decision-making, using brand, consumer, and retailer data to generate actionable insights.
Part of the Central Digital team, under the responsibility of the Measurement & Advanced Analytics Director, the Advanced Analytics Senior Manager will be responsible for leading advanced data science projects, developing scalable models, extract business insights, collaborate with teams and agencies, and provide expert guidance on data science solutions.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Drive intelligence from our data (predictive & prescriptive areas), run complex projects, utilizing advanced algorithms to extract insights for business value (internally or via preferred partners).
- Oversee advanced data science model development across all data analytics domains.
- Execute complex queries on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AMC for data analysis within the Data Hub specs.
- Collaborate with teams to define project requirements and align with strategic goals.
- Provide expertise and guidance on data science topics to stakeholders.
- Develop scalable data science solutions for reliable production deployment.
- Collaborate with our econometrics and data agencies to meet the needs of our marketing and digital teams.
The role is based in New York with the possibility of a hybrid working schedule with a maximum of 50% days remote monthly.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’d love to see candidates who have:
- Professional with 5+ years of experience data science applied for marketing
- Proficiency in data analytics platforms, database, & computation, visualization tools (SQL, Python, Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, R, Github etc)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling
- Expertise in data interpretation and deriving actionable insights
- Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in analytics software & experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Deep understanding of marketing mix modeling techniques
- Knowledge of media planning and buying processes
- Understanding of media data technologies and tools
- Degree in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics or Economics.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive, outside-of-the-box thinking.
- Highly disciplined and rigorous.
- Good project management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms
- Very good level of English written and orally. French is a plus.
