We seek a National Account Manager, Amazon Luxury to join our E-Commerce Department. This is an exciting, fast paced role where you will build commercial business relationships and execute growth strategies for the Luxury portfolio on Amazon.

 

As a part of the Amazon US Team and reporting into the Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a vast array of functions, including account management, business development and analysis, brand growth strategy development and execution, online sales and media fundamentals execution and budget management. This position leads internal and external relationships with cross-functional teams and is a key contributor in developing and executing our joint business plan through strategic assortment execution, promotional programs and media strategies.

 

The National Account Manager, Amazon Luxury is an innovative and seasoned e-commerce professional who brings a comprehensive knowledge of Amazon’s business model, with expert Amazon account management experience.

 

 

 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing & delivering joint business plan targets, brand growth strategies and sales analysis for Coty’s brand portfolio on Amazon US
  • Delivering commercial fundamentals with Amazon, including online sales fundamentals (e.g catalog, media, promo) and operational excellence (e.g. supply chain operations)
  •  Acting as the key point of contact with Amazon, managing daily requests and working closely with internal cross-functional teams
  • Leading growth, product merchandising, and strategic direction to build the customer experience
  • Designing and executing annual promotional programs for each brand; Manages budget, funding approval, assortment selection and post-mortems
  • Planning key holiday programs, with upfront product selection, forecasting, and sell-through plans for incremental sales gains; Translating holiday programs into year-round success stories
  • Leading brand initiative go-to-market plans, on-time innovation launches, and best in class Amazon launch strategies
  • Working in close partnership with Amazon Media, Content, and Supply teams to monitor and react to innovation launch successes and gaps, ensuring innovation forecast met or overdelivered
  • Implementing Amazon Retail media plans with support from external media agency, internal media teams and brand teams
  • Managing Amazon inventory, forecast and trade spend, including ROI performance assessment and ROI optimization based on analysis
  • Supporting Senior National Account manager in developing and executing financial targets, including P&L management and maintenance, cost increase analysis and negotiation, and netPPM analysis
  • Analyzing KPIs and recommending improvements to drive consumption and profitability; Executes performance recaps, communicating proactively to key internal stakeholders

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of retail, CPG or Account Management/Sales experience
  • Comprehensive experience working with the Amazon business model is required
  • Excellent computer skills and is proficient in Excel functions

 

Desirable:

  • 3+ Years experience of managing an Amazon account. Vendor Central/1P strongly preferred
  • Retail Media/Amazon Ads experience with knowledge of Sponsored Products, Search and Display Campaigns
  • Must be autonomous, decisive and a strategic thinker
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence across multiple levels and functions and drive coordination across groups
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt
  • Customer & team centric approach
  • Passion for the Beauty Industry

Coty’s global omni-working policy provides the option to work up to 50% of your month remotely. 50% of the month will be required in-office in Empire State Building. Base Salary Range: $100K-$115K based on experience
