COTY is looking for a Manager, Performance Media Analyst to join the US Media team, focused on supporting the Consumer Beauty division (COVERGIRL, Sally Hansen and Mass Fragrance brands). This role is responsible for overseeing performance, optimization strategy and overall analysis of all paid media tactics with a close eye on driving optimal performance and maximizing efficiency of our media spend. This role reports to the Sr Director, US Media and will work directly with the Media team as well as with Marketing, Advocacy/IM & CMI teams and will collaborate closely with our Global Media & Analytics counterparts.


The position requires strong knowledge of digital media platforms, placements, buying strategies, & analytics with attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will have worked within paid media analytics, planning and buying and will be an expert on driving performance media via analysis, insights and hands on optimization.


Overall, this role acts as the analytics and reporting lead within the media team thought partner in order to provide clear & actionable insights on media campaign performance, optimizations and test and learn opportunities.





In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Act as media measurement key point of contact – driving conversations around MMM/MMX, KPI frameworks, brand safety and all media measurement related tools/dashboards/tracking
  • Develop audience targeting and creative ad strategies to effectively engage target audiences
  • Inform strategy and tactical briefs and plans to ensure alignment to KPI framework and use of key learnings and recommendations
  • Analyze media performance data in platform and via consolidated dashboard solutions to bring forward insights and recommend optimizations
    • Track, monitor and provide feedback to Media Agency partners on performance of cross channel media campaigns inclusive of CTV, Video, Social and Programmatic Media
  • Produce clear, concise and actionable reports for both media experts as well as leadership
  • Ongoing tracking and reporting of all media performance
  • Provide actionable insights on creative and formats based on performance and A/B testing
  • Contribute test ideas, execute test strategies, analyze test data and document results
  • Daily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency for media channels
  • Proactively identify, test and evaluate new online media opportunities
  • Work with the agencies to implement overall Performance Media Marketing strategies
  • Collaborate across departments (Global & Local) to help ensure organizational alignment and effectiveness of media
  • Present results and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner to key stakeholders; collaborate and iterate based on feedback from cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follow industry trends, emerging technology and best practices, and share with larger Media team.
  • Experience working in the beauty and/or lifestyle space is a plus.




We’d love to see candidates who have:

  • 5+ years of media analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge of industry tools like Google Analytics, MMMs, Social Platforms, Programmatic DSPs, Dashboarding (ex. PowerBI, Tableau), SQL.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Flexibility to be available for meetings and other in-office work in our NYC office, as needed, and minimum 50% of each month
