CORE DESCRIPTION
COVERGIRL is looking for a Manager, Digital Design to join its growing Digital Advocacy Team within the larger Global Marketing Team. This role is responsible for producing on-brand and on-strategy designs for multiple digital products (social media graphics and elements, email creative/templates, ecommerce pages, website designs, etc). The Manager, Digital Design will work closely with social, digital, and creative team members, as well as with internal and external stakeholders across the organization.
The position requires strong knowledge of digital media and design, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate is an avid social media consumer, who is in has experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Illustrator and Sketch or Figma.
This position reports to the Director, Digital & Brand Strategy.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement thoughtful and unique concepts and design strategies across the full spectrum of the digital media environment, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate on creative projects with campaign and instore creative teams.
- Support digital projects through research, discovery, strategy, information architecture, design and development phases to help bring the user experience to life.
- Present concepts and ideas in a clear and compelling manner to Director, Digital & Brand Strategy and Head of Consumer Engagement; articulating and defending creative direction choices; collaborate and iterate based on feedback from cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality solutions through sketches, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps as needed.
- Collaborate with Manager, Digital Marketing and Manager, Social Media & Content to create campaign shoot briefs and mood boards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across the Digital Advocacy team and other departments to drive toward the creative mission and goals.
- Follow industry trends, emerging technology and best practices, and share with larger Digital Advocacy team.
- Manage seasonal brand toolkit inputs and other administrative tasks related to role.
- Experience working in the beauty and/or lifestyle space is a plus.
- Manage 1 direct report.
QUALIFICATIONS |
We’d love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
- 5+ years of design experience in a digital capacity
- BA or design school degree in Graphic Design/Digital Design (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of industry tools like Adobe Creative Suite, OmniGraffle, Illustrator and Sketch or Figma.
- Strong PowerPoint skills a plus
- Working knowledge of Word, HTML/CSS and animation skills a plus
- Flexibility to be available for meetings and other in-office work in our NYC office, as needed, and minimum 50% of each month
- Must have an Easy, Breezy, Beautiful mindset

Base Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 + bonus
