THE ROLE

 

The DTC Sales Strategy Manager will:

  • Lead data analytics and insights modelling for Global DTC Ecommerce team
  • Advance analytics and insights for Global Ecommerce teams, inclusive of trend analyses, investigative reporting, predictive intelligence, advanced forecasting, statistical what-if analyses, and scenarios planning
  • Provide daily, weekly & monthly business reporting and insights generation
  • Forward, strategic thinker who is passionate about illustrating business opportunities through data

 

Reports to: 

  • Director, Global DTC Ecommerce Strategy & Operations based in New York City

 

Grade level:

  • 7 (Sr. Manager)

 

Salary Range:

  • As per grid

 

Job Location Options: 

  • New York, NY

 

Expected Travel:

  • Primarily US-based travel in year 1
  • 1-4 times Globally per fiscal year

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work independently as the key day to day resource for all DTC analytic needs
  • Analyze consumer behavior, create and maintain key reports, dashboards and analyses utilizing web analytics tools
  • Lead daily, weekly and monthly reporting for Regional DTC Teams
  • Extract actionable insights through analyses of customer data. Translate analytical findings into concise and easily consumable outputs to support data driven decision making
  • Partner with DTC leadership to develop Ecommerce data strategy, analytics operational framework, business metrics & dashboards to track the success of strategic initiatives and financial performance
  • Help design and evaluate test & learns, setting clear hypotheses and success metrics, as well as using the right statistical methods for analyses
  • Investigate changes in traffic/sessions, engagement, emails, retention and click through and assist in identifying root causes
  • Perform primary and secondary research on competitive landscape across the beauty Industry and digital competencies
  • Strive to support team excellence by documentation processes and evangelizing new approaches
  • Maximize business & consumer value for the Kylie and Kim brands

 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING 

Experience

  • +6 years of experience working as an analytical role, either in consulting, analytics, strategy, business development or a related field
  • Strong excel skills, inclusive of advanced modelling and what-if scenarios
  • Proficiency with PowerBI or other data visualization tools required
  • Experience in data mining and statistical packages such as R/Python preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a direct to consumer business preferred
  • Experience in Adobe platform is highly desired
  • Strong communication and data visualization skills i.e., translating complex concepts into layman’s terms and influence both peers and senior leadership
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Understanding of Ecommerce, Supply Chain and Consumer Goods metrics
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies
  • Ability to summarize key findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional time management skills and an impeccable eye for detail
  • Intellectually curious about the Beauty Industry, Digital Trends and Continual Process Improvement
