About the role

An exciting challenge in an international fast-growing environment with a strong focus on delivering business strategies at a global level. You will be acting as a business driver, helping markets translate the brand’s global strategy to relevant regional/local strategies, to ensure achievement of marketing, commercial, and financial goals. 

 

Position

The main mission is to drive and deliver the Kylie Cosmetics (all categories) business strategy at global level.
The role encompasses all trade marketing activities and requires to proactively support and follow up on projects execution in all markets.
  This position requires full engagement and efficient communication across functions/teams (Direct-to-Consumer, Marketing, Innovation Management, Lifecycle Management, Creative, Merchandising, Education, Media, PR & Influencer Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) and all markets globally to align and implement the brand strategy, while ensuring consistency & protection of brand’s image, and ultimately achieving business goals.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Local markets:
    1. Help provide a true omni-channel experience for consumers by ensuring that brick-and-mortar, e-retail, and direct-to-consumer plans particularly on product portfolio, launch timing, promo & pricing are well aligned across regions.
    2. Secure best-in-class local implementation of 360° activation (e-retail, merchandising, in-store activation, education, pricing, sampling, gifting, paid social, PR & influencer marketing) as per marketing calendar.
    3. Co-define MarCom & promotional campaign plans for launches / initiatives.
    4. Coordinate local adaptation and execution of MarCom operations.
    5. Ensure smooth coordination for new markets development/launches.
    6. Ensure rules of engagements are respected at all levels.

 

  1. Commercial readiness:
    1. Act as key partner to ensure commercial readiness is met by all cross-functional team members (digital, visual merchandising, education, PR).
    2. Track assets development and timing delivery.
    3. Keep tracker up to date for all initiatives and ensure weekly communication to markets.

 

  1. IMP:
    1. Contribute with Director to mapping launch dates per Marketing calendar, product availability, rules of engagement.
    2. Contribute with Director to initiatives sizing, markets allocation decisions when necessary.
    3. Own pricing hierarchy, new initiatives price positioning and CPI process.

 

  1. Distribution:
    1. Contribute to distribution overview, new doors review and approval for both permanent and temporary merchandising.

 

  1. Promotion:
    1. Contribute to promo visibility for key markets, reviews, and approvals of promotions activations.

 

  1. Cross-functional:
    1. Own GWPs/samples and gift sets opportunities, GWPs and sampling commercial input to Marketing development.
    2. Work on accurate planograms with visual merchandising and markets
    3. Own Trade and commercial input on discontinuations and coordinate discontinuations process with local markets and supply teams. Monitor E&O, discontinuations, and catalogue changes.
    4. Review launch forecasts, challenge markets forecast, monitor, and communicate after-launch results to improve short-and long-term forecast accuracy and product lifecycle.

 

  1. Sell out and performances analysis:
    1. Own sell out tool insight and inputs.
    2. Monthly analysis drumbeat
    3. Ad Hoc analysis

 

  1. Master data:
    1. Keep file up to date.

 

  1. Business intelligence:
    1. Bring relevant commercial and product development actions via applicable market/consumer insights with multifunctional such as CMI.
    2. Pricing strategy to identify opportunities on cyclical and development projects.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in operational marketing, in an international role for a leading beauty brand, preferably in make-up/skincare
  • Agility & ability to think global and local, and drive solutions that meet both brand requirements and local commercial realities.
  • Fluent in English
  • Team-working ability and excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, and solution oriented.
  • Business acumen: Knows how luxury beauty businesses work; knows the competition; strong affinity with the beauty category in a selective environment.

Base Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 + bonus
