In an effort to reinforce the business creatively, we seek a Designer to be responsible for the execution of creative global assets primarily across in-store and digital.


The Designer will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, innovative, on-brand assets across launches and activations.


The Designer will report primarily into the Art Director, Covergirl with a strong collaboration with the Senior Art Director and cross-functionally with the Marketing and Advocacy teams. 


The Designer is a well-rounded professional with experience in the cosmetic industry, a background in visual merchandising, digital and packaging design to assist in the evolution of the brands’ presence globally, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the business.




In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in concepting product launch ideas and executing designs primarily focused on in-store/ visual merchandising assets while considering the 360-brand experience across e-comm and digital (stills and video for paid/owned, creator and advocacy content, when required.)
  • Responsible for managing retouchers in the post-production of model and product images along with the uploads for the brands toolkit deployment.
  • Designing across the omni-channel needs based on marketing briefs
  • Managing assets from production to completion. Assisting in shoot pre-production, on-set, post-production and delivery of assets to retailers via toolkits.
  • Communicating with retouchers and providing feedback on both model and product stills.




We’d love to see candidates who have/can/are:



  • Reliable in print and digital post-production, assisting in retouching feedback across model and product photography. Understanding of packshots, textures and product as well as models and ECUs (extreme close-ups), with attention to detail on skin and make-up. Good eye for color correction in beauty.
  • Familiarity of in-store and digital retailer design guidelines
  • Collaborative with ability to work under pressure and autonomously, self-motivated.
  • Builds trust within brand team, acting as a trusted partner. Able to listen and react with grace yet safeguarding the creative expression of the brand
  • Excellent skills across the Adobe CC suite, primarily in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Basic knowledge of Powerpoint.
  • Execute designs swiftly and on-brand for all marketing touchpoints
  • Excellent eye for design architecture, color, and aesthetic to build a cohesive storytelling across the Covergirl brand from in-store to digital.



  • Beauty experience strongly preferred. Experience in packaging design encouraged but not a must.

Base Salary Range: $83,000-$90,000 + bonus
