MANAGER, PRESTIGE DIVISION
DATA ANALYTICS & REPORTING ENABLEMENT
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND COMMERCE EXCELLENCE (BICE) – NEW YORK
COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.
Coty is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Manager to build and maintain the data, reporting, and automation capabilities supporting the US Prestige Beauty business across fragrance, makeup, and skincare. This role will integrate market, retailer, e-commerce, consumer, and internal commercial datasets into reliable reporting tools and automated workflows that support CMI and business decision-making.
The Data Analytics and Reporting Enablement Manager will serve as a technical and operational partner to US Prestige BICE leadership, with direct responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving reporting capabilities. Working closely with CMI, brand, commercial, and local and global technical teams, this person will translate reporting requirements into scalable solutions that improve data accuracy, accessibility, and delivery speed.
This role requires ability to personally write Python scripts and SQL queries, develop Power BI data models and dashboards and own recurring reporting from data ingestion through validation and delivery. The primary accountability is technical development and reporting enablement. CMI partners will lead consumer interpretation, strategic storytelling and business recommendations using the capabilities this role delivers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Reporting automation and scripting:
- Write, maintain and troubleshoot Python scripts to ingest, clean, combine, validate and export data; automate recurring report creation and distribution.
- Build repeatable workflows for weekly and monthly reporting, including scheduled execution, error handling, logging and alerts for failed runs or missing data.
- Replace manual file manipulation and repetitive Excel processes with documented, reusable code that reduces turnaround time and manual effort.
Power BI development and ownership:
- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, relationships, DAX measures, Power Query transformations and dashboards for category, brand, retailer, channel and product performance.
- Own refresh schedules, gateway coordination, report publishing, access controls and performance optimization in partnership with IT and approved governance standards.
- Develop reusable measures and reporting templates that enable consistent, self-service access to approved data
Data integration and reporting reliability:
- Use SQL and ETL processes to combine external market and retailer data with internal commercial datasets through approved files, connectors or APIs.
- Maintain product and brand mappings, retailer hierarchies, reporting calendars, metric definitions and source documentation, preserve differences in source coverage and methodology.
- Build reconciliation and quality checks for completeness, duplicates, missing records, mapping changes and calculation accuracy; resolve discrepancies before delivery.
Technical Delivery and user enablement:
- Translate CMI and commercial reporting needs into technical specifications, prioritize development with the Senior Manager, CMI & Data Analytics; and deliver working solutions from build through deployment.
- Partner with local and global IT, Data, Digital, and Analytics teams on approved architecture, integrations, security and reporting migrations.
- Maintain code version control, documentation, operating instructions, and handover materials; train users and troubleshoot reporting issues.
