Position: Data Analyst, Performance Media


What You’ll Do

As the data analyst, performance media, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of digital media campaigns for our brands and eRetail accounts. Your attention to lead volume and efficiency targets will be crucial in helping our team reach its goals. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and knowledgeable in running ROI-focused online marketing campaigns for paid media channels (e-commerce, paid social, paid search, affiliates).  The successful candidate must be passionate about performance at ecommerce media and must thrive on driving results in a fast-paced work environment.



What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze information to bring forward insights and recommend optimizations to improve long-term results
  • Proactively manage and continually optimize performance media and related online advertising campaigns with large budgets
  • Actively monitoring and maintaining budget file for overall ecommerce paid media channels
  • Support development of reports and dashboards to clarify results at scale
  • Develop audience targeting and creative ad strategies to effectively engage target markets
  • Contribute test ideas, execute test strategies, analyze test data and document test results
  • Daily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency for media channels
  • Proactively identify, test and evaluate new online media opportunities
  • Work with the agencies to implement overall Performance media Marketing strategies
  • Collaborate across departments to help ensure organizational alignment and effectiveness of marketing activities, especially with sales analytics counterparts


What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, including an in-depth understanding of key metrics such as CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROI/ROAS
  • Understanding of paid search, display, native, video and other forms of online advertising
  • Knowledge in e-commerce media and performance media analytics (strategy, planning, and buying, market and channel analysis)
  • Project management skills
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Focus on results and tenacity to get things done on time and on budget despite internal and external obstacles
  • Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
  • Strong knowledge of US mass and luxury beauty and/or CPG (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations), as well as other growth categories
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in media (preferably in-house and/or agency experience)
  • A bachelor's degree is required
