CORE DESCRIPTION

COVERGIRL is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join its growing Digital Advocacy Team within the larger Global Marketing Team. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of our social media and CRM strategies. You will work closely with the Manager, Social Media & Content to create engaging content, uphold brand tone of voice, community manage and reporting on KPIs.

 

The position requires strong knowledge of digital media platforms and web analytics, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate is an avid social media consumer, who is in has experience working in Sprinklr or other similar owned social reporting platforms.

 

This role reports to the Manager, Social Media & Content. This role demands a high degree of collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.
 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to questions, comments, and concerns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube and other channels as needed.
  • Trend spotting and idea generation.
  • Manage community management response grids and overall response trackers for the brands.
  • Exemplify the brand voice and tone in all community interactions.
  • Maintain an accurate and current content calendar, ensuring all updates and changes are reflected in the master document.
  • Manage and organize content and assets.
  • Work with the Local US Integrated team to ensure all content published and promoted based on best practices and the content calendar.
  • Proactively flag opportunities for the brand and escalate issues as needed in a timely matter.
  • Work with Global & Local Marketing teams to provide learnings and recommendations based on current trends in the community and industry.
  • Partner with Local US Influencer Manager to provide seamless online communication with influencers
  • Provide weekly & monthly reporting based on social listening, including sentiment analysis, community trends, and insights.
  • Assist team members with brainstorming and strategy meetings to increase engagement and aid efficiencies.
  • Maintain and improve workflows and processes for community management and escalations.
  • Share relevant findings and recommendations with the Social Media Manager and the cross functional teams.
  • Follow industry trends, emerging technology and best practices, and share with larger Digital Advocacy team.
  • Manage seasonal brand toolkit inputs and updates to brand website.
  • Experience working in the beauty and/or lifestyle space is a plus.
     

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Essential:

  • 1+ year(s) in social media management or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and grammar.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate engaging content ideas.
  • Flexibility to be available for meetings and other in-office work in our NYC office, as needed, and minimum 50% of each month
  • Must have an Easy, Breezy, Beautiful mindset
