Senior Specialist, Regulatory Product Compliance

As we expand our regulatory team, we seek for a Senior Specialist, Regulatory Product Compliance for color cosmetic products to work under the supervision of the Senior Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Under the supervision of your manager, you will assess global compliance for your assigned portfolio, covering all aspects of the products (raw materials, formula, artworks, packaging).
- Review and discuss claims and ensure appropriate documentation is available.
- While working independently, you will escalade any potential concern to your management.
- Depending on the project and the brand involved, your assessment may be required for countries like USA, Canada, Latam, EU, China, Japan, Korea etc.
- You will work in strong partnership with the rest of the RAPIC team, the broader x-functional R&D (formulators, packaging engineers, etc..), as well as the marketing teams to explain and guide them through the applicable requirements.
- The role may require managing some transversal capability activities related to regulatory requirements, in close collaboration with the rest of the regulatory team.
QUALIFICATIONS |
We’d love to see candidates who have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar regulatory role on cosmetics, ideally on color cosmetics.
- Knowledge of the cosmetic regulation in the different regions and understanding of the key applicable requirements
- BS in sciences, cosmetics
- Good communication skills
- Team player, able to build relationship with the team members as well as the broader R&D organization.
- Proficient with IT tools, eager to learn and navigate in new IT environments.
