Supply Planner

Montreal, Canada

The Supply Planner position is a key role within our Supply Chain structure.   The enthusiastic self -starter individual will work closely with Demand Planning, Customer Service Sales & Marketing and Operations partners, to guarantee product availability while reducing inventory levels. Excellent organizational skills, a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems, and the ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels, and managing supply within the Canadian organization.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Daily communication with global planners to review and monitor finished goods inventory status.
• Proactive reporting of product and material availability issues
• Project Management ownership and leadership of local customized prepacks production
• Inventory Management:  excess and obsolete local process, safety stock and inventory parameters, product life cycle management
• Lead the Canadian Operations meeting with Marketing, Demand Planning and Sales
• Act as local project manager for all new launches
• Responsible for analyzing and making recommendations for product allocation when necessary

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field
• 2-3 years Supply Chain Planning experience
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
• Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• SAP system experience highly desired
• Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to
• changing priorities
