Senior Manager Global Safety

Wanted to celebrate and liberate the diversity of beauty?  Our Monaco R&D center is looking for a Senior Manager Global Safety to bring science at heart of our performance evaluation. Reporting to the Director of Product performance Evaluation, you will get to work with all R&D partners, developing innovative testing approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Senior Manager Global Safety, you are responsible for providing safety assessments on ingredients and raw materials, final products, and provide technical and scientific rational to support global safety evaluation for skincare, body, and fragrance brands.

Your main focus:

• Assessment of safety of ingredients for the intended uses
• Qualification and assessment of safety of raw materials for Skin, Body and Fragrance Categories
• Pre assessment for safety clearance for formula in development
• Preparation and approval of Cosmetic product safety reports for production release of developed formula including packaging
• Preparation and approval of safety assessments for packaging used for each new formula
• Participation to new strategy of evaluation including NAMs and in silico tools
• Follow up of product development for some specific brands under a E2E project management
• French representativity through Working Group in Cosmetic Federation
• French representativity with Global Communication regarding Cosmetic Industry and Scientific Information
• Provide safety scientific rationale to any request (internal/external)
• Impact evaluation of any new safety data
• SPOC for EU PIFS

The global safety team consists of 11 people from different locations, and you will work closely together with several departments such as Claims, Product Development and Research teams. All your team colleagues are focused on results and supporting each other to achieve our goals.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As an experienced Safety Assessor, you like working on different topics and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.  Other than that, you:

• Have a Ph. D or Master degree in Toxicology
• Recognized as EU safety assessor
• Expertise in packaging evaluation is a plus
• Knowledge of in silico tools
• Knowledge in NAMS
• Experience of 5-7 years in cosmetics and/or dermo cosmetics
• Excellent communication skills in English to convey positions clearly and to explain professional opinions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively to build strong relationships with a variety of partners.
• Team management
• Ability to manage technical projects
• Creative thinking skills and a flexible mindset.
