MISSION/ROLE SUMMARY:
- Scheduler : Ensure the smooth execution of the short-term production plan (1 to 2 weeks), adapting to the unplanned events (delivery delays, quality issues, service emergencies, breakdowns, shared equipment, etc.) by coordinating with different stakeholders (quality, production, supply chain, etc.) to ensure service continuity.
- Planner : Plan production orders for the medium and long term (2 weeks to 4 months) based on customer needs and inventory strategy, while respecting factory capacity constraints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Service
- Responsible for service level across all production lines under their charge.
- Ensures that all actions aimed at eliminating out-of-stock situations and projected market shortages (OOS, quota, discontinued items, distribution/deployment) are carried out.
- Proposes improvements to improve customer service level.
- Can evaluate the impact in quantity and Net Revenue of these shortages.
- Raises alerts with stakeholders (market or management) to implement actions and/or inform markets about the risks of shortages.
Production Plan
Scheduler – Short term planning
- • Ensures that the production plan aligns with the needs for timely production in required quantities and updates it as necessary.
- Validates the production plan W+1 weekly with packaging coordinators, ensuring the availability of components, bulks, and proper sequencing.
- Records all events leading to changes in the short-term production plan. Analyzes these events and implements action plans to prevent future occurrences.
Monitoring the Production Plan – Medium/Long term
- Daily monitors the execution of the production plan (including new initiatives); sets priorities in line with factory capacity constraints.
- Weekly collaborates with production teams to collect and analyze adherence to the schedule data. If needed, participates in developing an action plan to improve adherence.
- Raises alerts with stakeholders (market or management) to implement actions and/or inform markets about the risks of shortages.
Availability Control
- Weekly ensures the availability of components (including new initiatives) over a 6-week horizon.
- In case of projected out of stock, challenges the concerned stakeholders (buyers, production planners, etc.).
- Ensures coordination between bulk making orders and packing lines orders over a 2-week horizon.
Firming and scheduling orders
- Weekly firms complete orders in terms of components or positions fixed orders based on replenishment needs of distribution centers and factory capacity constraints.
- Weekly re-plans orders (excluding new products) in their portfolio according to demand evolution.
- For promotional campaigns and samples, analyzes market needs, anticipates risks of shortages or unreliable sales forecasts (based on past data), confirms delivery possibilities, and launches orders or positions fixed orders.
Capacity constraints
- Develops the capacity plan for the factory in the short, medium, and long term. Participates in validating this workload plan.
- Collaborates with packing managers to ensure a feasible workload in the short, medium, and long term.
- Proposes smoothing solutions to avoid overloads and/or additional costs (offloading, production advancement, grouping productions, etc.).

- Bachelor in Supply Chain
- Proficiency in English & French

- 2 years of work experience in an ERP/MRP environment
