Sales Analyst

THE ROLE

This role is accountable for collecting and analyzing sales data to provide insights to the sales team for multiple LATAM markets for both Prestige & Consumer Beauty divisions. In addition this role will be responsible for consolidating and identifying opportunities for distribution across all channels in all LATAM countries. The role will also be responsible for tracking progress on contract renewals across all countries.  
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, monitor and provide insights on sales results and trends; in sell out, sell in and inventory
• Maintain and build dashboards that allow business analysis
• Facilitate data communication and decision making throughout the decision-making process
• Analyze the strategies for LATAM in regard to size of market possible expansion plans and evolution of our categories
• Collaborate multifunctionally to contextualize the data
• Organize data sharing sessions on key LATAM / industry topics
• Review customer forecasts versus the expectations of the plan 
• Lead the distribution update and provide insight on the opportunities for the year and beyond
• Lead the tracking of the contract renewal glidepath for all countries in both disvisions

• Analytical skills to review data and provide insights
• Presentation skills - ability to present and communicate with confidence.
• Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Able to work through complex situations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, applied informatics, data science, business management or similar areas
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in retail, luxury, marketing, or fast moving consumer good sales
• Ability to breakdown and solve problems through quantitative thinking
• Comfort with ambiguous, ever changing situations in a fast paced environment
• Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of broader team project
• Strong interpersonal skills, self motivated, collaborative, and “can do” attitude
• Ability too communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in excel and power point  
• Language: Fluent English and Spanish.
• Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus
