The Senior Manager, PR, Influencer & Social Digital, is responsible for leading the development and execution of the PR & IM and Social Digital and their synergistic intersections for Sally Hansen & Mass Fragrance in the US market. Reporting to the Director of US Marketing for Sally Hansen & Mass Fragrance he / she will play a key role in leading the vision and objectives across PR/IM & Social / Digital.


The Senior Manager, will work with an integrated marketing team of Local Brand Marketing, Local Influencer Marketing / PR, In-Store, E-Comm and external agency partners to coordinate larger programs across organic and paid programs while also seeding & cultivating relationships with our nano-influencers; driving content creation across social media, to ensure seamless in-market execution.


As part of this function, he/she will also be responsible (with agency or internal global partners) for managing brand organic social media, including content calendar planning, content creation, retailer integration and community management. 


The Senior Manager, is highly attuned to the competitive environment and pop culture, and is capable of synthesizing that knowledge with an understanding of the brand to create impactful and relevant brand content.  He/she has a sharp eye for creative, is detail oriented, has high quality standards and is capable of managing complexity across numerous stakeholders to deliver results on time with excellence.


He/she will be responsible for managing & developing 1 direct report, the Assistant Brand Manager PR / IM and Social / Digital.





In this role you will be responsible for:


  • Main point of contact for agency management, including ownership setting quarterly KPI’s & scorecard performance review process.
  • Understands the new world where earned & paid media intersect, the Tiktok algorithm and enabling quick & seamless action to tap into content & trends while they’re hot.
  • Is flexible & brings a vision and plan for ‘good, better, best’ and can scale ideas up & down based on budgets.
  • Lead the PR agency in creation of strategy, execution of earned media plans, brainstorming & executing launch events, excellent copy writing skills.



      • Feed into local media plan development for brand in the US market, including input into media brief, briefing external agency, and working with external agency on the stages of media plan development.  Align business objectives, marketing objectives, product priorities and key communications priorities with Local Brand Marketing team. 
      • Develop all necessary creative versions for media campaigns. 
      • Provide actionable recommendations to Global Marketing to influence development of media creative that is optimized for the latest platform capabilities and consumer interaction.
      • Partner with Trade, Sales and Top customers on account-specific tagging and messaging needs in organic and paid brand media.
      • Lead the future of brand media communications by identifying key opportunities and challenging/building internal capabilities to come to market in new ways.
      • Ensure all local media creative upholds equity guidelines while delivering on in-market needs
      • Upload all assets are to DAM / PIM for teams to utilize.
      • Oversee QA process of how brand is represented on platforms to ensure consistent assets & tone of voice.



      • Approve with Assistant Brand Manager & agencies social media content calendar for brand and lead creation of brand social content across key social media platforms (with agency or internal partners).  Test new /emerging platforms.
      • Manage email strategy
      • Work closely with Local Brand Marketing colleagues, Local Trade Marketing and Sales to align local activation & support calendar, with focus on synchronizing media launch timings with other in-market programs.
      • Act as the Marketing team’s primary liason to the Influencer Marketing/PR and other integrated media teams (i.e. global, talent, media agency), ensuring these key Marketing partners are briefed and kept up to date on all marketing programs and priorities.   
      • Lead Integrated Marketing Team, consisting of Local Marketing, Global Marketing, Local Influencer Marketing/PR, E-Commerce, Social Media, In-Store and external agency partners to ensure all brand programs are coordinated and commercial impact maximized.



      • Manage non-working budgets across both PR/IM and Social/Digital budget lines.



      • Lead local adaptations of global creative for all marketing programs (excluding Wall and Display), ensuring adaptations uphold equity guidelines while delivering on in-market needs.
      • Partner with Local POS Design counterpart to ensure consistency of all local creative executions across in-store and media.
      • Collaborate with Digital agency to develop monthly content themes & shoots. Ensuring creative ladders up to overarching content strategy (as applicable).






We’d love to see candidates who have:



      • 4-year Undergraduate Degree
      • 5-8 years of Marketing within Social/Digital and / or PR/IM
      • Knowledge of traditional PR alongside influencer marketing
      • Be adept at prioritizing & managing multiple brands and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
      • Have a sharp eye for marketing creative media environment, pop culture and brand priorities.
      • Eye for detail in both qualitative and quantitative aspects
      • Passion for building brands & inspiring teams.



      • Beauty experience very strongly preferred
      • Mass channel experience
      • Autonomous, decisive, with strategic thinking and relationship building mindset.
