We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join the Orveda Maison Boutique team. The Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Boutique Director in the overall operations management of the boutique while also driving sales and providing an exceptional customer experience.

 

THE ROLE

 

In this role you will be responsible to:

 

  • Always ensure the entire team and themselves are presenting a brand image that is in line with brand guidelines including but not limited to: team clothing uniform standards, visual merchandising, cleanliness of boutique and spa spaces, etc.
  • Transmit the values of the brand and encourage and develop a “one-team” spirit with fostering teamwork with all boutique team members.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and manage POS daily procedures: open/closing procedures, cash desk, stock management, tester inventory etc.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, cash handling, returns, and exchanges.
  • Achieve and monitor the sales objectives of the boutique overall. 
  • Analyze retail KPIs in partnership with the Boutique Director.  Identify behaviors and strategies to increase sales based on KPI analysis.
  • Willing to go beyond the target and boutique growth by cross-selling and upselling actions.
  • Actively sell products themselves while also encouraging team selling with BA and Facialist team members.
  • Actively develop personal repeat clientele and support BA and Facialist teams to also develop repeat clientele.
  • Ensure a close partnership with the Boutique Director on all team and boutique operations topics.
  • Partner with Boutique Director to identify and pursue new opportunities for sales growth within the community or with existing and new client relationships.

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

We’d love to see candidates who have:

 

Essential:

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a stand-alone luxury retail boutique.
  • Operations management experience working in a service-based boutique in the following industries:  luxury spa, salon, fine jewelry, luxury accessories, fine ready to wear.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Digitally savvy with proficiency in:  retail POS systems, clienteling systems, calendar booking systems, retail reporting and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and select holidays based on a retail schedule.
  • Energetic, highly motivational and dynamic personality
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

 

Desirable:

 

  • Luxury skincare or niche fragrance experience a plus.
  • English fluency is mandatory, additional languages a plus

Base Salary Range: $83,000 - 90,000
