Senior Sales Finance Manager
Job: Senior Sales Finance Manager
Mission: Act as the operational Senior Sales Finance manager by providing financial insight and leadership to drive the strategic agenda and P&L delivery of the Consumer Beauty division. Responsible for partnering with sales team to drive profitable growth with customers and ensure the proper governance/controls over Trade Investments and expenses, driving ROI mindset and ensuring transparent reporting of customer activity performance is available.
Main Responsibilities
A. Consumer Beauty Financial ownership
- Sole leader for financial planning process and delivery for the Consumer Beauty Division UK&I.
- Owner of trade funds management for all customer across the Consumer Beauty Division.
- Co-pilot with sales by providing financial insight for short-term choices, and by building profitable long-term strategies, to help organisation deliver yearly targets.
- Own the financial R&O gameplan to deliver profit forecasts, and yearly financial targets.
B. Projects agenda
- Plan: Lead and drive the Consumer Beauty Division’s yearly strategic plan.
- JBP: Lead the financial analyses and JBP score-carding for all Consumer Beauty customers. Partners with sales to develop, analyse and implement external customer joint business plans across the Consumer Beauty portfolio.
- Revenue Growth Model: Develops and activates a 3-year revenue growth model across the portfolio’s largest customers. Analyses historic strategic revenue management, designs future glidepath for GTN improvement, partners directly with Commercial Directors and UK Sales VP to implement via the yearly joint business plans with customers.
- New Product Development Review: Sole owner of the initiative reviews financial delivery and tracking. Tracks and analyses the delivery of NPD delivery for the Consumer Beauty Division. Highlights key drainers and drivers for delivery versus target, incorporate learnings into future launches.
- Systems Integration: Leads the simplification and maintenance of SAP pricing conditions. Requires designing future integrated trade terms for 5 channels and 20+ customers, engaging with internal global master data stakeholders, and managing external project management teams from Accenture.
- ARAP: Actively supports sales team to deliver DSO target by managing the relationships between Poland shared service centre, local Sales teams, and external customers for overdues and receivables across for 5 channels and 20+ customers.
Knowledge & Experience
- 5+ years business experience.
- Sound business judgment and high commercial acumen. Trade Finance operational experience is a plus.
- Skilled in change management and communication throughout.
- Ability to work independently, under general direction, and develop creative solutions to problems.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills, creativity, and flexibility.
- Ability to deal with diverse levels of financial and operating personnel in a multi-national organization, while aligning multiple stakeholders.
- Deadline oriented and the ability to easily adapt to changes and multi-task.
- Experience with ERP Systems: preferably SAP/Hyperion.
